But I have to, I got a manager and coworker being all hostile, so I don't want to deal with them anymore. so I have already decided I am quitting tomorrow but I will go in tomorrow and when the boss comes in I will talk to him first to explain why I am leaving unless they already plan to fire me due to those two, in which case that is also a relief because it means I never have to see any of their ugly faces ever again.

But I am still nervous so if anyone has any kind words I'll take em. Like I realize after tomorrow they will be gone forever from my life but I am still nervous about quitting like this. Seems like an as*hole move, but I cannot take it anymore and when I argued with those two today seemed like they were trying to gaslight me to. As the one did tell me to be more careful about getting wrinkles on the bottoms of shirts, and then when I had my confrontation with them they then said I was focusing too much on the bottom and getting all the tops wrong, and I look when I am done and maybe a few here and there came out a bit weird, like its me loading shirts on a pressing machine there will be some that come out bad I am not a machine that can make every one come out perfect with no human error. But my boyfriend told me he figures I didn't do anything wrong and they're just being bitchy old ladies with some weird agenda. But for sure since I callled him crying after work, he figures if I need to quit then I should, but he was encouraging me to try and just keep it up till I found a new job....but yeah he certainly does not want me to stay at a place where I get so distressed I have to call him in the parking lot before I even go home becasuse my coworkers upset me so much that I just needed to hear from someone on my side. I generally try to just text him if it's just I minor thing...but I was so upset and needed someone to talk to for a minute.

But also initially they were telling me I was doing great at the pressing, so I don't think I just unlearned it and my boyfriend does think they might just be saying that to get to me...but like uhh it's just so mean and if I was really doing so bad at pressing shirts why haven't they fired me yet? So just those guys trying to gaslight me and make my expereince hell. LIke by far the worst manager I have ever had she doesn't even know how to manage like what kind of manager instead of talking to an employee uses passive aggression, like sure I did a little back to her but like aren 't managers supposed to manage instead of making fun of workers with her bestie. Like eww I just want a real job where at least there could be an HR department or whatever to report that kind of crap to. Its just the current job only has a few employees and the ones giving me crap have been there for years so I figure the boss will be more likely to take their side than mine.

I'd double-check labour laws. It might be preferable to get yourself fired in a way that doesn't amount to cause.

If there's no benefit to not just quitting on the spot I'd quit at a moment where you know it will be disruptive.

I think it's not worth sacrificing your peace of mind if staying at a job that is proving too stressful means that you would. Do whatever is right for you. Good luck.

It will be very disruptive if I quit tommorrow, since we had gotten thursday and friday off for the 4th of july so tommorrow, wednesday would have been the last day for my week anyways, but if I do quit tomorrow it for sure will give both those as*holes more work than they were hoping for on the last day before the Independence Day holiday weekend. So if I am feeling it now I feel like its a good time to do it, just to show them if they f**k around they can find out. Because if I quit tomorrow I will never have to see any of them again, but also I may be getting fired anyways. But either way id finally be rid of them.

I have to stand up for myself at least once and not take that from those coworkers, like when I got into it with the manager she tried to use the angry mother tone, and its like hey you b***h I'm 35 years old, don't you talk to me like that(not what I said, but I was still mad she was trying to speak to me like that). LIke what the hell, and then I saw a new coworker bailing out while we were arguing so idk what she thinks now but I had just had it with those two. And I do not think I can be cool with them...so I have to quit unless he fires both of them instead, but that seems unlikely.

Well, this is part of why I always tended to be more concerned with animals than people growing up. Like at least most cats are nice to you if you are nice to them. cause I was being nice to those coworkers and checking in if they needed help up until I heard them talking behind my back when I was in earshot, just talking crap. Where before they were telling me I was doing good so its like they just turned on me and keep trying to gaslight me about it. But I am not special I assume that kind of behavior is why at least two people have walked off on the job in the not even full year I have been working at this place.

But yeah I figure I can do better than the villan aunts of james and the giant peach for coworkers, I'd for sure rather hang out with the spider.

It sounds cray.
You mentioned what the type of business was, once.
It's hard to believe such drama would happen there.

Are they the owners?

No it's the 'manager' but like worst manager I have ever had...and just a coworker she is friends with that just seem to have the goal of making my experience at this workplace hell. And also not sure the main boss is the actual owner, but I feel like I should at least tell him why I am quitting as he is the boss of that location, and I feel like I should at least formally quit by telling the boss why, rather than just ghost the business by not going in tomorrow and cutting contact. As either he already knows how those two act and is ok with it, or no one has spefically reported it before and he is oblivious to it or something.

Well I did it, and actually feeling much better now since it means I never have to see any of those people again. But of course now I will need to find another job...I think I will be ok with SSi for the time being though. Also though my manager came all in being all cheerful but when I made sure to make my quitting official I did it in front of her...and that smile of hers fell off immediately. I guess she didn't think I'd really do it.

Boss guy was kind of asking if he could maybe just talk to them and my boyfriend said I should at least consider it if he wants to try and make it right, and I agreed initially but after a few minutes and seeing that manager all grinning and cheerful I decided to take the plunge so I went to him while she was right there and said 'You know actually, I can't deal with these two any longer....can you please get me my paystubs.' He did not seem angry at me but he certainly seemed bothered, and I am hoping maybe he'll reign those two in before they ruin someone else's work experience. I guess when some people get the smallest amount of power they go straight to abusing it. But just like I then told the mean coworker 'guess what not my shirts, not my problem' those mean coworkers are also not my problem anymore.
