5) Would sandbagging in qualifying to reduce the risk of getting wrecked early count?
6) Repeatedly. The longest I've gone without sleep was to complete a stop-motion video project for a Comm. Tech class, that was ~6 days and I was no longer functional by the end.
7) More than once. Many reasons.
8. Yes.
9) No, I've been fired, terminated, dismissed, canned, walked out the door and have had my assignment ended but I don't think I've been made redundant.
10) Yes. The last one was surviving the fire noodles.

1. Yes. Many times.
2. Not successfully
3. No
4. Not yet
5. Yes. At college we had to do a course called 'General Studies' in addition to our chosen courses. The test was multiple choice and I just did a pattern of answering D. E. A. D. over and over throughout. I thought that was funny. I didn't care whether I passed or failed. I failed.
6. Yes, not deliberately. I get insomnia sometimes. All it usually accomplishes is making the ground rise and fall as if there were waves in it.
7. No
8. Yes. A friend I used to walk to school with got in touch with me some years ago. I was really happy to hear from her because I missed her and still do. She wrote once, maybe twice, then never responded again.
9. Yes. A magazine publisher I worked for made me redundant when it ran out of money and went into administration.
10. Not really. I'm not good at achieving goals. When I achieve something it tends to be through dumb luck.

1. Not that I know of.
2. No, and I don't want to try. I get enough injuries walking down the street.
3. No, although I've only had it a little over a year.
4. No. Only ever lived with my parents and in a college dorm.
5. No
6. Many times. I accomplished lying in bed for eight hours and failing to sleep.
7. No, but I've never had a date or spouse.
8. Only had one friend in my life, and nothing's gone wrong yet.
9. I've never been fired but I am pretty redundant at my current job. They hired me even though all the work was getting done without me so now I have nothing to do. I'd be better off fired, it's a waste of my time and their money.
10. Small goals--yes, all the time. I got out of bed this morning. Larger goals--I suppose. I finished high school. Finished one year of college. Survived this stupid job so far.

1. No.
2. No.
3. No.
4. No.
5. I forgot; it was during highschool and elementary days because I don't want to be an honor student.
6. Yes; poor life balance at school and work, personal entertainment and gaming.
7. No.
8. No.
9. No.
10. I don't even consider graduating from school, getting a job, attaining some position or winning a particular achievement as a goal or a feat by itself, let alone anything more mundane than that.
My standards are high and long term. My true goals are not fully there yet. :|

1. Yes. Poetry.
2. No, but I'd like to try it.
3. Yes. I had my driver's licence revoked on medical grounds.
4. No.
5. I don't think so.
6. Yes. I accomplished a long haul flight to my destination.
7. No.
8. If I have I haven't noticed.
9. Yes. I was made redundant because a family member of the boss wanted my job. It was an office job in payroll.
10. I don't really make goals. I'm more of a 'let's see how things unfold' kind of person.

1. gotten published No. Somebody once tried to market a CD of music I was performing on, but it turned out it needed an expensive bar code to be sold in the shops, so they gave up. One or two people have put recordings I was involved in onto YouTube, if that counts.
2. ridden a unicycle No.
3. gotten your driver's license or professional license revoked (which one, and for what?) No.
4. gotten evicted No. A landlord once threatened me with eviction because I wouldn't move out when he wanted me to, but I hung on till I found a reasonably good house to buy.
5. purposely failed a test (which one?) No. I knew I was going to fail one exam, and I didn't care whether I passed it or not, but I guess if I'd been able to fathom the syllabus then I'd have passed.
6. gone 24 hours without sleeping (what did you accomplish?) Yes it happens often when I take a plane to the USA and they screw up the connection.
7. gotten dumped by a date or spouse (for what reason?) Yes. My first 2 dates dumped me for other boys, and later on a woman dumped me for unknown reasons.
8. gotten ghosted by a friend No.
9. been made redundant (for what? which job?) No, apart from voluntary redundancy once.
10. accomplished a goal (which one?) Yes. Passed exams, got stable relationship, got a bearable job, bought a house, passed driving test, made a 4-track tape recorder, learned to play music quite well, recorded some fairly good songs, played to a fairly big, appreciative audience, travelled to the USA.

You dont have to speak in dishonest "office-speak" here on WP.

If what you mean is "get fired from a job" then just say it that way please.

The word "redundant" means...just what it sounds like it means..."something that is a redo of something else that is already in place" (like back up systems in a passenger airliner).

Yes. Have been...fired...let go...whatever ...more than once.

1. gotten published :?:
 I'm not into reading books & majorly struggled in English class & hated writing so NO.

2. ridden a unicycle :?:
 I barely even ridden a regular bike when I was a kid but I did have a reg bike.

3. gotten your driver's license or professional license revoked (which one, and for what?) :?:
 I got my learners permit when I was 18 & quit driving a couple weeks later. It's too dangerous for me to drive with my various issues. When my permit expired & I had to go to the DMV I got a regular non-Drivers ID. Me & my girlfriend actually went to the DMV yesterday for new non-Drivers IDs. Hers expired a week ago on her birthday & I lost my wallet about half a year ago along with my ID that was in there. My ID was going to expire in a few months anyways.

4. gotten evicted :?:
 My mom often threatened to kick me out when we had big fights when I was a teen & when I was unemployed as an adult. However mom never actually kicked me out & threatening me was an empty threat when she was frustrated with the situation. After I moved in with my girlfriend our landlords never had problems with us.

5. purposely failed a test (which one?) :?:
 I failed LOTS of tests in school & in life but not intentionally. Lots of times I barely tried because I knew the test was beyond my level & I didn't want to get more frustrated from wasting my effort. Basically I knew I would fail anyway so no point in majorly trying.

6. gone 24 hours without sleeping (what did you accomplish?) :?:
 When I was about 21 my doc put me a steroid pack for about 10 days to treat my skin eczema. The dose was high at first but got reduced every other day. After a few days I started having problems sleeping. When there were a few days left I went about two days with no sleep at all & then got a little sleep for a couple days & then started sleeping normally. I didn't get anything accomplished during that time. I mostly did various things on computer & various times I tried to sleep with no success.

7. gotten dumped by a date or spouse (for what reason?) :?:
 I never did the dating thing persay & never been married but I've had three relationships.

~The breakup with my first girlfriend was kind of mutual. Me & Emily were long distance & started having lots of fights. It would of been a couple years before she would of graduated high-school & been in a position for us to move in together. She also had problems with drugs & alcohol & cheated on me with her ex because he offered her drugs. I had a mental breakdown worrying about her & fell into a psychotic depression. I couldn't trust her & didn't know what was real & what my f#cked-up brain was making up. I'll always f#ckin hate myself for making things worse for her. She might of even killed herself shortly after our breakup. She was bragging online about how she drank so much she went to the hospital & then she went quiet with our circle of friends. I really hope she was just trying to get attention & her mom got her some major help. If I could go back in time I'd kill myself before getting in that relationship

~Me & my second girlfriend were also long distance. Meg was in college & living in an apartment that her parents were paying for. Her parents were very traditional & wanted our relationship in their terms & would of cut her off financially if we went against them. It would have been a couple years before she would of graduated & my Social Security Disability would NOT have been enough to support the both of us. We had lots of fights partly due to the stress of being long distance & knowing we'd have to remain so & partly because I'm very dependent & clingy & needy. It would of been a lot easier for her to have a secret relationship with someone who was already living near her like a college friend so she dumped me :(

~The good news is that my current relationship is going pretty good for the most part. We've been living together for 11 & a half years now. It majorly helped that we were able to move in together after a little over half a year & Cass is also dependent & kind of needy & clingy so we're more compatible :D

8. gotten ghosted by a friend :?:
 Various times but I've also done some ghosting. Sometimes I don't know what to say or one of us got busy with life stuff. I was also kind of depressed & needy which made me harder for others to handle :(

9. been made redundant (for what? which job?) :?:
 I did floor cleaning & other custodial stuff at WalMart for just over two years. My department got more & more shorthanded during that time. We gradually went from at least 15 people in the department to averaging only 5 a night. We started having a contract crew helping us out but they were making various mistakes we needed to correct. One morning a manager ordered me to do something & ignore all orders till it was done. The acting head manager had me paged to do something but she did not make the page herself so I ignored it & she gave me a verbal warning. I quit right before clocking out that morning. A month later my supervisor got into an argument with the acting head manager & she recommended he'd switch departments & he chose unloader. Someone else in the department quit right around then as well. A couple or few weeks later the remaining people in my department were transferred to other departments. I would of had problems working in other departments due to my disabilities so I feel I was forced out

10. accomplished a goal (which one?) :?:
 I've accomplished various goals. I graduated high-school partly because some of my teachers curved my grades from an F to a D & my mom would not have let me drop out. I've had three jobs. I'm in a successful long-term relationship & moved out of my parents & in with Cass. Those are the bigger goals off the top of my head.

In the UK being made redundant is different from being fired, let go, whatever. If you're made redundant and not paid, for example, you can claim your earnings from the government. You can't do that if you're fired with good reason. A company can only make someone redundant if they can show that the job doesn't exist anymore, or that they have too many people doing a job and not enough work. You can only fire them if they're guilty of misconduct.

It also makes a difference when it comes to applying for your next job. Redundancy isn't a problem, being fired might be.

I guess the term Redundant in the UK is like the term Laid-off in America

1. Yes. Co-wrote a book.
2. No, never attempted and don't think I could.
6. Many times. My sleep schedule is so irregular that I often have to stay up late to try to reset it.
7. Yes. The most devastating experience of my life.
8. Not exactly ghosted, but I've had friends who fell away, some rather suddenly.
9. No but technically I might have been since I quit without notice and they tried to fire me for it, even though I had already quit.
10. No. I don't think I've ever set a goal for myself
