Hello all,

It's been a long time since I have made a post here so I'm happy to be back.

Anyway, I have recently became interested in the idea of manifestation. Does anyone on here know of any techniques that have helped you manifest your goals? Also I struggle with a lot of negative thoughts. I understand that negative energy attracts more negatively into your life so I am trying to change that also. So if anyone has any advice on how to keep positive I would appreciate that too.

2. Get good grades in college or university.
3. Get a job with a reputable company.
4. Work smarter, not (necessarily) harder.

Through it all, stay out of trouble and away from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.

And don't get married and/or have children until you have reached step 4.

What has helped me is to try to be consciously grateful of the good things I have. Some people suggest writing them down, but I find that's sort of like keeping a ledger and it invites comparing your "blessings" to those of others, so I try to be more generally grateful. This can include being grateful for sunshine and rain, flowers and trees, and the people in your life, whether you are close to them or they rang up your groceries or delivered something, or you are just grateful that they exist.

1&2 I've done successfully, I am still working on 3.

I am also sober and do not intend on getting married because it is too risky legally in my country.

I do however enjoy a cigar from time to time with a coffee and a good book.

Gratitude is very important indeed, I am working on that these days and it really helps.
