Hi,

I registered at WP a few months back, but this is my first post here.

Ok, well I'm 25yr male, British/Australian nationality, currently living in England (West Yorks).

I was diagnosed with AS by a London specialist earlier this year, it has taken me some time to come to terms with the diagnosis, but the more I have read about it, the more it seems to fit.

I will be looking to contribute to lots of topics here I'm sure, so, guess I'll see you all around. :)

HI, I'm new also but just wanted to say hi to you. When I first posted my "Hi new in Alaska" on here I'd check it every day to see if anyone had responded, (made me feel like there was someone who cared a little bit I guess) so I always try and make sure to say "HI"
just re-read that WOW how "needy" does that sound, oh well, it's true. :D :oops:

Hi Bightme,

welcome! :) I'm also 25 and quite new too. Oh, I'm from Denmark.

I had quite the opposite experience, I read so much about AS, that I was quite sure of my self-diagnosis before even talking to a specialist who confirmed it. Good luck in coming to terms with your diagnosis. Remember, it's just a name for a part of you, not a judgement nor does it have to change anything for you :)

Ha, no, I think it's just relief in finding others who share similar traits.
