last friday, july 26, 2024- trump told this right-wing audience of "Christian" floridians, that they'd have no need of voting in the future- "Christians, get out and vote! Just this time. You won’t have to do it any more, four more years, you know what? It'll be fixed! It'll be fine. You won't have to vote any more, my beautiful Christians. Get out–you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don't have to vote again. We'll have it fixed so good, you're not gonna have to vote."

that sounds to me like he intends to be a "dictator for life." what dictator allows voting? what do you all think?

Hmmm Shouldn't this be investigated? Surely the FBI will be watching the trump people for signs they are hatching some type of nefarious plan.

That is seriously scary. This clown is manipulating Christians to do his bidding, and we're going to have another World War II situation if he gets in office. I have people I love trapped in this cult.

This not only implies that Mr. Trump wants to be dictator for life, but that specifically Christians will lose their voting rights.

David Frum predicted back in 2018, that the american right wing gave up on democratic means of getting what they want [their thumb over the rest of us], and were basically seeking a dictatorial strongman as the right's new means of getting what they want out of the rest of us [obedience/fealty to right wing thinking/behavior].
