Question About Patreon and Discord

I have a question for anyone who uses Patreon. I've subscribed to a YouTuber for the first time, and she's got a Discord server. I'm having trouble figuring out how to get to that server. I can't find instructions on her page from either the Patreon app or the website. I wound up asking her on a comment in her YouTube vid, which was probably not the place for that, but I have no idea how to send private messages on YouTube.

Is the discord just for patreon subscribers? You might need to give them some money in order to get an invite to the discord. That's happened to me before.

I did give them money. I'm beginning to wonder if she emails the invite or how this works.

Yes, i think when i signed up for something like that I had to wait for an email with a link to discord.
