Just asking...after watching the Daily show...We never hear of this in Australia

I'm downunder and I've known of Heritage's plans to dismantle democracy in the US for months.

I haven't? I tend to read Australian sources for news > US sources

It's a blueprint for, if Trump wins, implementing a right-wing populist agenda, based on the "unitary presidential theory". Federal civil servants would be hired based on their loyalty to Trump, rather than on merit.

Basically, a return to the "spoils system" in effect during most of the 1800s, and Trump being the Viktor Orban of America.

It's no laughing matter.

Like Tex said, it basically a blueprint for fascism.

At its core it about restructuring the Federal Govt....instead of the current bedrock of nonpartisan bureaucrats that have kept the government running for the last 250 years...while different POTUS strut around on top and come and go...those bureaucrats could be replaced by partisan jackass friends of the POTUS. Even if a POTUS I liked were planning that I would be scared s**tless.

So the stakes are high in the next election. Perhaps the CIA can program another shooter to take him out?
