Civil Service
Hi everybody,
Do yall know how hard it is to get a job working for the government?I am thinking of trying to get a job with the post office at some point.I heard its virtually impossible to get a job working for the feds if you are not a veteran. The job does not have to the post office. However I do like the idea of working for the government because its steady employment with great benefits including health insurance and a pension after working for 20 years.
So I would be able to retire at 60 at the latest if I worked for 20 years starting at 40.I still want to devote several more years to making my own way as being self-employed.So how hard is it to get a civil service job. I want the job to require a 4 year degree.I would want to work for the feds not the state.I would like to make a living wage.Do yall think being a mailman could be a good job and is Asperger's friendly?
