I kinda lost interest in Looney Tunes due to the bullying and, well, it's been 3 years. I'm currently "fixated" on Gravity Falls. Do I move my account?

You should never let anyone make you hate things that bring you joy. I let people make me hate the US when I was 10 and I went on for years about how I hated Americans until 9-11 happened and than I felt very guilty about the things I said about Americans.

Gravity Falls seems like a very cool interest. I don't know how an account can be moved.

I used to be bullied and harassed for liking Garfield and when I was in my early 20s I felt that giving up on everything Garfield was the only way I was going to have any peace. It sucked, but I was developing new special interests that helped somewhat.

And I still haven't given up on Garfield, even if I'm not walking around wearing him on my shirt in public anymore.

Now that I think about it, I felt bullied for liking Routemasters here so the Late 70s became my special interest.

I often have dreams about Garfield (or at least I used to have those - before I got this very bad case of insomnia ) - but it is ALWAYS like that it is a Garfield plush toy in those dreams. I even asked about this dream motive on the net and this is the answer I got: "Garfield is the cat that has human features. He doesn't want to get off the couch and loses his life in a safe place. He wants to have peace and is afraid of life. It's an escape. But when he needs it, he can quickly turn into a very wise cat. In him there is wisdom, independence, love and walking his own path. Only the world of people and technology stopped him in the world of illusion."

Think it's super normal for interests to shift with time. I hope you have the time of your life with Gravity Falls!!

For me, there's a certain sadness in parting with past special interests-- I put my heart and soul into them, so moving on feels like leaving a piece of myself behind.

You can always change your avatar and stuff. Maybe ask the admins about a username change.

I have a special interest that's frowned upon by many people. I don't even try to hide it. If I were to give up on Germany, I'd be a nervous wreck and I wouldn't be much fun to be around. I'd probably end up in the psych ward of my local hospital. Could you imagine a talk session around the table.

Me - I gave up on Germany so people will accept me more.

Shrink - Why in the hell did you do that? No wonder you're here.
