Hello All

My name is Jessica and I am a trainee psychologist completing a doctoral research project on autism self identification and mental health. I am looking for potential participants for my study. The research is qualitative and will involve having an interview with me. This can be done remotely via video call (camera on/off) or via text chat. There is very little research on this group and their mental health needs so this research hopes to provide greater insight, which could inform provision and practice in mental health services. Your voice is important!

I would be really interested to hear from any adults (18+) who are UK based, self-identify as autistic and have experienced mental health difficulties. You should also be comfortable talking about your mental health. Thé interview will last up to 90mins and there will be an opportunity for feedback to further inform the research process.

If anyone is interested please do email me on [email protected] and I will share further information and participation procedure. This project has been approved by London Metropolitan University ethics committee.

Thanks for reading :)
