confusing communication, or just app malfunction?
At Kaiser, some doctors prescribed some drugs such as Ibuprofen for me. Then on the portal, when I tried to order it, it said "order cancelled". It wasn't until I asked the pharmacist about it, the pharmacist said that if the drug is over the counter, the portal will say "order cancelled". How f*****g confusing. To think, I tried to email the doctor about the "ordered cancelled." Wouldn't it be better communication, for the portal to say "prescription is over the counter", instead of "ordered cancelled"? s**t.
Similarly, on the work portal, I tried to disclose that I got jury duty. It said "request denied". Then I showed the jury duty summons to the human resources. She told me that after I phone the court, after 5pm, the day before the jury duty, I have to phone human resources and leave a message that I have jury duty the next day, and when i get back to work, human resouces will help me fill out a time correction form.
Today, on the work portal, I tried to click on "call out" and I filled out the form but there was no "submit" button. (Whoever wrote that app is bad at computers. I am also bad @ computers. Maybe we should both be software engineers.) Then I ended up submitting the request on the "Time Off and Pay Requests" (which is for absences over 2 days in the future).
Then I went to some difficulty in taking photos of the computer screen, and emailed them to myself, b/c I am afraid the boss will tell me I did something wrong and make my worthless corpse redundant or some BS like that. And I wrote an essay about what I tried to do and what didn't work. s**t.
