Fall allergies
I never used to get allergies as a kid, but now I get them if I go outside for a long time without taking allegra. Yesterday I went for a walk and the leaves were blowing off the trees. It was beautiful and I really enjoyed myself. On the way home though, my eyes were very puffy, watery, and itchy. I was sneezing and I had a runny nose. Then, my hand rash started acting up again. When I was ready for bed, my eyes and hand were driving me crazy, but after a good night's sleep, I woke up feeling better and I took my allegra. Does anyone else experience this?
Yes... not always that bad.....but as years past, ended up with this MAST cell inflammation .. seemed to get worse.
As was explained to me by my doctor . That inflammation is behind all allergies and most illness.
Had fought with allergies most of my life , at some level or amother. . low level allergies to food and stuff, messes with my immune system . And become bigger allergies, it seems . Even Asthma is a inflammation situation. And still deal with that type of stuff, With more serious reactions, but never a bad attack, just lung inflammation.
Sinuses and occassionaly puffy eyes . I have been dealing with. .But. am keen to avoid areas that cause these effects or I wear a mask. And orange Mucinex tablets, work quite well for me . Add alittle coffee and it seems to help breakdown the tablet faster., or maybe it is the caffiene?

People around me mistaken me as having allergies.
... Said allergies doesn't have a pattern, let alone something seasonal.
Turns out my major trigger is humidity.
And I'm in a tropical country that I cannot leave.
So that's 'seasonal' indeed -- except my 'allergens' arises the majority of any wet seasons and whenever the weather or the room dictates it.
And my hormonal cycles can make or break my immune responses. It doesn't matter if I avoid external stress and activities, how much I ate and so forth -- my damn hormones will ruin it for me.
Usually when ovulating, I'd end up being too prone to infections.
So I got like 3-4 recurring illness and infections that incidentally have similar symptoms.
How the frick does one tease them all out as a kid?
People kept insisting those are allergies.
Yeah. "Allergies" that are listed as "non-allergy factors" and are sometimes contagious.
I still cannot goddamn 'get used to' the chronic sneezing, breathing issues and how it screws me still even as far as dealing with it as early as age 5.
It just doesn't get better except when it never happens. Taking meds only works half the time at best... But that's because it's not even an allergy -- an immune response -- half the time.

When I lived in a more humid area, I had lots of allergy problems. Out here in a very arid area, I have relatively few allergy problems.

I have a productive cough all the time that doesn't seem to stop sometimes. I've had bronchitis several times as well as pneumonia before. The coughing was making my back ache up until a few weeks ago. Now it's just the coughing and wheezing that I have. I wonder if it's connected to fall allergies. My eyes aren't puffy today which is good. The hand rash I think is related to dry skin. Every fall and winter I get dry skin in different areas. Always my hands and feet, but sometimes it's my legs and my back that itch too. When my skin is really dry, my doctor said I should put on cream and wear socks to bed. This is good because the lotion gets into my hands and I have no ability to scratch myself endlessly all night. Wearing thick socks to bed also helps with this. Another thing that's good is that I don't have a back scratcher in my room because if I did, some nights I'd be scratching my back until I left marks on it. I'm very happy to report that I have no food allergies.
Might Research a Infectious disease doc , that might specialize in those sort of things after you have made a diary of your symptoms... Might have Gene , that got turned on over the years ....Infectious disease doc to diagnose ,
And a highly reccomended Naturopath to treat it ,And follow Naturopaths guidelines. You describe much of the symptoms, I lived with growing up .

Loves velcro,
It is better to take medications preventively, before you have a reaction and not after.
The nasal medications were quite effective during allergy season and my sensitivity dropped way down after years of taking them.
Even more effective is to wear a good KN95 mask to filter out the air when I'm working out in the yard.
I think wearing masks is common in some Asian countries.
I learned to identify many of the allergy producing plants, such as ragweed.
Now I see them all the time when I leave home.

If I remember to take the allegra before going outside for an extended time, it helps. I'm really not into wearing a mask outside though. As for plants, it's really just leaves and pollen that irritate my eyes and nose. Also, having cerave rubbed on my back soothes my itches for a few days and relaxes my muscles which is really nice.
