Christmas means something different to everyone.
For me it means positive energy, celebration and gifts.
It can also mean sharing time with those close to you.
I have some people in my life though I've been alone for a number of past Christmas's.
I expect that to change as my circumstances improve.
I've been trying to focus my life on my goals. That is the gift I'm looking for.
I've decided to assume that I already have it and so the celebration begins.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Yes you have the idea.
Are you familiar with Neville Goddard?
I've found some of his material interesting.

I don't watch tv much so I may be wrong about this, but my impression is now that Christmas movies are being broadcast year round.

While I don't mind seeing a Christmas movie in the summer, I sure wouldn't want to watch them all day.

Very nice.......what is it?

When my son was small, my estranged wife used to insist on taking him away at Xmas, so rather than escalating the acrimony between me and my ex, he and I switched to having our celebration on the Solstice. It felt quite good to be a bit different. To this day we kind of prefer the Solstice.

I don't know if they still do it, but "The Orange Show" in Houston used to celebrate Christmas in the summertime since they weren't open at Christmas.

I'm celebrating Christmas early as well, or should I say, I'm starting early.

If only I can find out the title of the song that starts at 1:01:00 in this video, I will be set because I'll be able to listen to it on repeat.

I think your talking about the Hallmark channel. They mostly or only show romcoms & start showing Christmas romcoms during the summer  Or maybe they now show some Christmas romcoms all year & from July through December only show the Christmas ones :? There is something called Christmas In July where Christmas is celebrated on July 25th in addition to celebrating it on December 25th. Some stores like our local Walgreens start selling Christmas stuff in October while still pushing the Halloween stuff. It seems like retail & other businesses push holiday stuff earlier & earlier in an attempt to rake in more money. I liked celebrating Christmas as a kid mostly because I got presents ie toys & video-games & I got out of school for two weeks  Otherwise I think there's too much hype around the holidays & that Christmas is waaay too commercialized. Working three Christmases at WalMart made me even more jaded :tired: It makes me think of the Cledus T Judd song called, There's Only 364 Shopping Days Til Christmas
