If you are sick & have to take a shower, will taking a shower & having wet hair make you worse? I'm living in a group home, I have to take showers 3 days a week. I should not take showers 3 days a week, cuz of my ankles, now both of my ankles are hurting. The people here care more about my hygiene than my physical health. How can I follow rules & walk if I cannot walk at all?

I'm surprised that they haven't provided you with a shower chair so you can sit while you shower. I don't think they're expensive, well worth the price if they are.
