I seem to feel I have days when I'm at work where I won't engage much with the other staff or customers for a while until later on during my shifts and will take myself off the shop floor for a few minutes. I know that people are not supposed to bring personal issues into work but it really is a struggle especially if there was a day before of arguments or something that I was sad or upset or worried about. It's hard to keep the work and personal lives separate.

I know I have to take 5 minutes and walk away when I feel a meltdown starting. Work can be stressful and if there is stuff going on at home, by all means take a few minutes to re-group.
