I seem to think there have been a number of things that have happened that I've been struggling to get to grips with and include my sister having a son in 2019, a work colleague and friend died suddenly at 50 in 2023, two granddads passing away in October 23 and January 24, colleagues from work I've worked with for a long time leaving, seeing the work place change in how it does things (which used to have a wide range of books, and now just has what's available based on popular demand or trending on social media), seeing many places where I live close down and just left boarded up. I seem to feel some of these things have happened ''too soon'' especially with my granddads who I know were both 84 and 86 but still feel that if only they'd lived a bit longer.

My workplace has changed and not for the better. A lot of people I started with are now gone, the replacements are way younger than me or just aren't the best people to be around. In the last decade I had a couple friendships end ( although for good reason) but nothing has come along to replace them.

Places I used to go are now gone. There has been a lot of change in the world and at least here in The USA, I struggle with.

So I hear you.
