BELIEVE YOU are put on a list ..sometimes based on "necessity" ...sometimes based on your length of wait .Some areas are different waiting times than others.....heard some people waiting up to 6 months but that was years ago.?
Some people have told that is easy to get kicked off of it. "the Section 8 program."Only had friends who used that program".Neverpersonally.
Just been Lucky. Some of the Locations are very nice, I have heard also.!
(( All are usually based on Income))***** If you get any extra money after you live there, I DO NOT think it would be a good idea to ever let Anyone know !. Good Luck with the program..There are standards ,,section 8 , landlords,,are expected to maintain. If they hope to get to be a part of the Section8 program .
Historically People I have know, Considered it a Great thing to be able to get with the program. Am not sure ,but if there is a valid reason you can turn down a home in favour of another? and maybe stay on the program while you wait for another home( apt) (whatever) Am not sure about this part of the program.But did hear of one Section8 person moving into another sec8 location, I think?
