This is a game I love to do a lot by myself.

Since probably it would be alike, in my home town we are old school luckly this means we are ourselves. It would changed only the daily tasks.

I was born in 1996 so this means what would had change the most is the tecnological part.

I would surely had a PDA (I don't know what we had in Italia... I guess a Palm second hand?), to me smartphone is a PDA so to me having one would had been needed far more than having a pc of my (calendar, notes, calculator is needed more than the rest to me).
I would have a G Shock probably due my father was a climber (alpinist in Alps).
I wouldn't my pc tbh I guess, the pc would had be in common with my mom but probably I would end with a second hand desktop? Right know I own a Mac mini, iPad and iPhone but during 96 Mac was far more expencive so I doubt it was affordable to me.
So I would had a desktop with 3.1/MS Dos with my mom and maybe I would buy a Windows 95 for me.
For internet old school modem from phone.
A Walkman alike or a second hand Walkman. And a portable radio fm/am.
A dslr, I own a Canon Rebel and would be interesting know the alternative... but at that time I could had use my grandad Zeiss Contessa!
That's it.
A compass (the G Shock's) and maps.
Fiat Uno instead of Fiat Punto Classic.
A tv and a VHS player .


For life style as I said my home town and people around me never really changed, we got better but is still like in Gilmore Girls my home town.
So, I wouldn't change.

My life style is mostly on listening podcasts (that's why radio fm/am would be even more needed than a Walkman) and walking around so whatever and however surely a way to not get lost would be needed to me.
I love use pc and internet so surely I would had a desktop, when I was kid I had a assembled desktop with 98 but 95 is pretty the same.
Knowing my mom she wouldn't change 3.1 for 95 so she would had still use 3.1 or even MS Dos.

For the rest I'm not fan of socials and I do love public libraries.
I prefer go to groceries by myself than the modern ways.

So, would had change a few tbh.


I think I'm luck, I live my life mostly offline and I live real world.

Me, turning 30 in 1995 would look like just someone doing job hopping from place to place, living a carefree single person life.

Place is relevant too, I came from a place where landlines on long distance is still being used at the mid 2000s and cellular phones are newly accessible, and computers are yet to come in few following years -- there are no working cellular phones from where I came from at that particular birth year unless I migrate elsewhere.

Nothing too spectacular in my case if I were a 30 year old woman in the 1995 in a not-so-major city in my country.

Maybe except for the fact that I'm not married.
They may think I'm aspiring to be a nun or something.

They may assume I'm mentally ill and mentally disabled for being weird, until I open my mouth and call them out for an ignorant because I can very much show off the fact that I'm a college graduate, and my English speaking skills will intimidate people around me 100%.

Turning 50 in 1974 would be a huge culture shock but a pleasant one. I would actually be into fashion because the clothes were so much nicer back than. Radio would have been more fun as well. The music on the radio was better. I'd also be watching a colour TV set that I bought in 1965. I would have been born in the roaring 20s. I would have made it through the Great Depression and I would have fought in WWII.
