Or maybe not. It may take an Arab Spring-style overthrow of Trump, but I think American democracy can be saved.

At this point, Trump has given our enemies a significant amount of intelligence information (we lost so many agents in his first administration, and this time the people around him were much more prepared to take advantage immediately), and we have shown the world that we can't be trusted to keep our word, so even if we can bring the country back to functionality, we will probably never be the recognized leader of the free world again.

This is not something we will be able to come back from in one election cycle....if we're even allowed to have another election.

We'd have elections, but they'd be sham elections. Russia and Belarus have "elections", but they're rigged in favor of Putin and Lukashenko, respectively.

I worry that I could share Alexey Navalny's fate if I don't proclaim that Trump is God.
