Elon Musk and Donald trump have re-hired exDOGE staffer who posted racist tweets.
Elon Musk has said he will rehire an employee of his newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) who resigned after being linked to a racist social media account.

"He will be brought back," Musk posted on X, the social media platform he owns. "To err is human, to forgive divine."

The account connected to Mr Elez - first reported by the Wall Street Journal - posted a variety of inflammatory comments that were verified by the BBC as authentic.

Among his tweets "I would not mind at all if Gaza and Israel were both wiped off the face of the Earth" in June 2024"

"Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool," read one post from the pseudonymous account in July.

Another post, in September, said: "You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity."

"Normalize Indian hate," another post that month said. Vice President Vance (who is married to an Indian) while he disagreed "with some of Elez's posts... I don't think stupid social media activity should ruin a kid's life". trump said he he didn't know about "that particular thing", but agreed with the vice-president on the matter.

Marko Elez is a software engineer with no previous experience in government or finance. He has direct access to all payments made by government with admin access to every payment made for social security payments, tax returns and other codes for every American citizen.

I'm curious how much access this clown has to millions of American's social security numbers and bank accounts? His state of mind suggest that he should never have been given access to this much sensitive personal and financial data.

Elon believes this man should be forgiven. F*** no. He's still a bigoted believer in genocide. He deserves no forgiveness nor a job in government of any kind. To err is to human. There is no error here. His intentions are VERY clear. To human is to forgive. If I was given a choice between relinquishing my humanity or giving an unapologetic backstabber a second chance, BEAM ME UP EXTRATERRESTRIALS OF OUTER SPACE. I don't belong on this planet anymore.

I voted for him this term because I couldn’t get a job last term and because science is important to me. I think much like AI sometimes, examining probability and analytics. The scientific community along with the tech explorers have opened my mind to worlds beyond my previous imaginations. It is my hope, as I look to the future of mankind, that science will help to unite us someday.

I struggle to see how anyone thought the guy promising to crash the US economy was going to improve the US economy, but apparently there's a lot of people who need to find out personally before they realize what's up.

Even if one believes he’ll be good for the economy, which I think is extremely unlikely, President Scumbag is a known rapist. There’s probably not much such an abhorrent person wouldn’t do. He’s demonstrated that he’s not above trampling on the basic human rights of another person. It’s not hard to see how that could play out on a larger scale. We’re seeing it right now.

You may be right. But I can only vote based on my personal experiences. Every presidential election I ask myself “Were things better or worse last term?” If they were worse, then I vote for a change in leadership. If I’m unable to pay for my basic living expenses, something is wrong with the system. I’m more fortunate than some because I have savings from a previous job from another decade ago to fall back on. But it won’t last forever and I’m not eligible for social security at my age.

I don’t know if he has raped anyone or if it’s just fake news being spread. Honestly. The thing is…there is truth that some newsfeeds are deepfake. I only know this from personal experience. My own newsfeeds were hacked last year with images of friends I once knew. They weren’t real videos but the editing was flawless. With that in mind, I don’t trust many media outlets now. But I try my best to make decisions based on my personal experiences and what I see happening around me. I read too. There is so much bias now that they are even making commercials about people hating each other. The recent Super Bowl highlighted this. It’s a strange world but I’m optimistically hoping for the best.

Have you researched the charges made against him and the evidence which led to his guilty verdict? There’s quite a bit of evidence demonstrating both his misogyny and abuse of women over the course of decades. It’s not merely “fake news.” NY’s penal law deemed his crime “sexual abuse” although the term “rapist” is appropriate IMO.
