Hate some of the photos of myself. I look awful

I've scrolling through Facebook to see if I can find nice photos of myself that I've been tagged in and some look awful because of the long hair I once had. My hair is shorter now, more thinned out, has a more windswept look because I grown quite confident with a shorter look and have a kind of Bradley cooper type style. In photos I look like almost one of those guitarists with long blonde hair although it's only grown down to the bottom of my neck but I still look ridiculous and I hate it now I try to smile the right way for the camera but it looks bad when I look back at it because it looks like I'm not smiling at all when I have been. I never wanted to look almost like a long haired rock guitarist, I went to hair salons to have it cut properly but the thing is I never liked it too short or too long.

I think it's a pretty normal reaction to pictures of yourself

I didn't use to like how my expressions looked in pictures. I actually practise my smile in the mirror specifically for photos. I also have looked up how to smile for pictures.

I've always wished I was more photogenic. Photos of me make me cringe

I do don't pictures, when I did FB, I had a rule about never posting a picture of myself. There are a couple on there still, from a family gathering. I always look dopey.
