Seriously dangerous, country. People have short memories of Idi Amin's attempted genocide of Indians. If the Ugandan police can do this to the daughter of a billionaire, I feel trepidation for how safe the country is for ordinary Indians.

Homosexuality carries the death penalty in Uganda--the only non-Muslim-majority country that does this.

If the police and judicial system in that country can bought by criminal elements to kidnap and torture the daughter of a billionaire, I would hate to see how they extort local citizens let alone minorities. And yes, I can't imagine the police would lift a finger if a somebody was murdered for being homosexual.
