How to relocate without a job?
I live in rural California with my dad. The internet connection here is rough, so full time remote work isn't feasible. My bachelor's degree is in something that just isn't in demand out here. I am back in school locally for IT/Computer Science skill training, but jobs are still very scarce in general and the employers are very ableist and conservative.
Previously I was briefly able to get a job over an hour commute away and then found a rental with that job. But I lost that job because of my autism (employer wanted me to work faster than I could and just didn't seem to like me). I struggled with a couple more jobs to stay where I had relocated to near the city, but then got a disabling work injury that limits the types of lab work I can do, couldn't renew my lease because I lost my 3rd job since relocating because of autism and the injury, and had to move back with my dad. Now I'm trying to plan how to get out again now that I can't really work in a lab anymore. But even with new computer job skills, I would likely need to relocate to a more urban area first and find a job once there.
How do I find a rental arrangementover an hour away from my dad's house that is okay with me not having a job at first and just paying with savings and unemployment? I have considered extended stay hotels but am concerned that would burn out my small savings too fast.

I think the cheapest housing option is to buy or rent a trailer or motorhome. You still will need to pay for a trailer or rv monthly park spot but it isn’t nearly as expensive as renting an apartment or cemented foundation house. You won’t be forced to share walls with a neighbor or share a room with anyone either. It’s probably one of the best ways for people on the autism spectrum to live independently if you are high functioning and don’t need much day-to-day support.
