How can I make friends as a homeschooler?
This is my first post here. I've heard good things about this place and I think it's worth asking. I've been homeschooled for 4 years now, and I wouldn't want it any other way. When I was in public school, it felt like every teacher had something against me and I didn't know what it was. I very frequently found myself in the principal's office because I would burst into tears in class. I always try and convince the principal ''I don't know why I'm crying'', when really it was because of how overwhelming the environment was. My kindergarten teacher was the only teacher I feel actually cared about me. She is one of the nicest people I know, and she would always accommodate me. I'm dying to talk to her again! I had some friends, but looking back at it, I don't think they liked me that much. They never seemed to care. I don't miss public school one bit, except for one thing. I just kind of miss having people to talk to, no matter how ''fake'' they were. I absolutely love meeting new people and talking to them. I don't see myself having issues socializing, but I simply can not find anyone to talk to.
Thanks for reading. Let me know if im using this incorrectly!
