Lucky escape for British kids as autistic killer was on his way to kill a bunch of kids after killing his family. It could have been one of the worst school shootings ever.

Apart from the horrific crime it would have been more negative attention and greater linking autism to mass shootings like Adam Lanza, likely causing more stress on innocent teens with ASD being marked as potential mass shooters.

Quote:
Dr Iain Kooyman, a consultant forensic psychiatrist, found that: 'Almost all of the abnormal aspects of Mr Prosper's mental state and behaviour can be explained by autism. The only aspects which can't fully be explained by autism are Mr Prosper's extreme lack of empathy and remorse.'

This is the chilling moment wannabe school shooter Nicholas Prosper menacingly posed with a 'wooden gun' before murdering three of his family members during a merciless rampage at his home.

The 19-year-old, who 'wanted to be famous' as the biggest mass murderer in the world, blasted his mother, Juliana Falcon, 48, and siblings Kyle Prosper, 16, and Giselle Prosper, 13, in the head with a shotgun at his Luton home.

He then set off towards his old primary school armed with a loaded shotgun, a kitchen knife and a bag of ammunition, to continue his killing spree.

He intended to shoot at least 30 of the youngest pupils and teachers at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School as the school day started at 9am.

But Prosper was stopped by police by chance as he was on his way to carry out the school massacre, his hands still covered in blood.

Now haunting footage has revealed how Prosper readied himself for his sick plan, by posing with a wooden plank and pretending it was a gun, in a chilling foreshadowing of the horror that was to come.

The killing spree took place on September 13 last year. The defendant first gunned down his mother Juliana, shooting her with a single shot to the top of her head as she attempted to fight off her son, with her bloodied body later found in the hallway.

Prosper's next victim is believed to be his younger brother Kyle. He was found close to his slain mother, having been stabbed over 100 times - with knife wounds piercing his lungs, arms and legs, before the 16-year-old was shot in the head.

Ruthless killer Prosper then turned his attention to his sister Giselle, shooting her in the eye while she cowered under the dining room table in the living room. In a video filmed before the killings, the serial killer had warned 'my sister's face will be mutilated further than is necessary'.

Appearing at his sentencing hearing today, the teen showed no emotion in the dock as the court heard he craved notoriety and wanted to 'kill all' - and had even admitted to a prison nurse days after his rampage: 'I wish I had killed more.'

Prosper had a sordid dream of outdoing the death toll of the 2007 Virginia Tech massacre in the US, in which 32 people were murdered, the court heard.

In a harrowing victim impact statement, the defendant's father Raymond said: 'The pain of our loss will never be healed. This includes my whole family; our lives will never be the same.

'For me personally, when I heard the horrific news on that day, part of my soul died too.

'This is a lose-lose situation for us all and we have lost four family members.'

During the defendant's first court appearance, Mr Prosper had shouted at his son: 'I still love you, son. It's not your fault, okay?'

In his opening statement, prosecutor Timothy Cray KC said Prosper 'desired to be famous or infamous as a mass killer' and intended carrying out the biggest school shooting that the world had ever seen.

He told Luton Crown Court: 'What drove him on most was the desire to be famous or infamous as a mass killer. This was killing for the sake of killing.'

He continued: 'The defendant planned to kill his family.

'The killing of his family was to be first step in an even more shocking mass killing.

'That same Friday morning, he had planned to kill at least 30 of the youngest pupils and two of their teachers at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Luton.

'This is the school he attended as a child. It is about three-quarters of a mile from his home.

'He had been preparing these killings for months. His planning was cold, deliberate and without sympathy or emotion towards the actual victims or potential victims.'

He added: 'In summary, it comes to this. The defendant's main wish was to achieve lasting notoriety as a mass killer.

'Specifically, he wanted to imitate and even surpass other mass killers around the world. He had conducted in depth internet research on shootings in the United States of America, Norway, Australia and New Zealand.

'He understood his plans, if realised, would bring about the greatest number of deaths in a school or other mass shooting in the United Kingdom and possibly even in the United States of America. He wrote a note saying that this would be, "One of the biggest events ever". The note contained a diagram of the early years' classroom at St Joseph's and an arrow pointing to a second classroom .

'Beside the first classroom he had written, "Kill all".

'His wish to attain this type of infamy was reflected amongst other things, in the day he chose for the killings (Friday 13th), the distinctive outfit that he planned to wear and the order and selection of his targets.'

Prosper's bloodthirsty plans were later revealed in February, after he decided to change his plea to guilty at the last minute.

During the hearing, the teen admitted three counts of murder, as well as to purchasing a shotgun without a certificate, possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life and possession of a kitchen knife in a public place.

In chilling footage, played out in court today, Prosper was seen menacingly posing with a plank of wood as though it was a firearm while playing around in his kitchen. He was also wearing the yellow and black outfit he intended to be in for his rampage.

A timeline of terror: How Nicholas Prosper slaughtered his family and tried to gun down children at a school
Triple killer Nicholas Prosper had been planning his morning of murderous mayhem for more than a year, it was today revealed.

The 19-year-old murdered his mother, sister and younger brother at their home, before fleeing.

He then planned to execute dozens of children at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Luton, which he and his siblings attended when they were younger.

The horror started at 5.50am on September 13.

Prosper attacked his mother Juliana Falcon, 48, first, shooting her once in the head with a shotgun he had illegally obtained the day before.

The killer teen then launched a savage attack against his younger brother Kyle Prosper. He stabbed the 16-year-ol 100 times before shooting him in the chest and head.

Prosper then chased down his sister, Giselle Prosper, 13, shooting her in the eye as she hid under a table.

From here, Prosper fled the Leabank building, hiding in a woodland.

He was spotted by police lurking in Bramingham Road at 7.50am, when he was eventually arrested. He had planned to burst into the school at 9am to begin his killing spree.

But the court heard he had been planning the mayhem for more than a year.

He had previously booked a session at a Hertfordshire shooting range in August 2023 but failed to turn up.

The teen later said his plans stalled at that stage because he could not work out how to get hold of a firearm.

By April 2024, he had put together a black and yellow uniform that he wanted to wear for his killing spree.

On August 30, he forged a fake firearms licence.

Less than two weeks later, on September 12, Prosper purchased a shotgun. He went on to kill his family the following day.

Prosper launched his killing spree at 5.30am, when neighbours living next to the family home in Leabank Court, were awoken by the sounds of a disturbance followed by gunshots.

When officers arrived, they discovered a scene of carnage, with the killer leaving his bloody handprints everywhere.

Prosper had dumped a series of bloody knives in the kitchen after stabbing his brother more than 100 times slashing his hands, arms, legs and piercing his lungs before shooting him in the head a close range.

In a matter of minutes, the teenager shot his family six times after carrying out a test shot on a teddy bear.

Describing the grisly scene police encountered, Prosecutor Mr Cray said: 'They forced entry to number 82 and saw the lifeless bodies of the three victims.

'Juliana Falcon was found in the hallway. Kyle Prosper was also found in the hallway.

'Giselle Prosper was found underneath a dining table in the living room, as if she had been trying to hide there.'

After leaving his relatives face down in a pool of blood, the teen fled the apartment and uploaded a video on Facebook at 6.22am.

In the clip, which he had recorded the day before, Prosper threatened to shoot his sister in the face.

He said: 'On June 30 my sister decided to make the incorrect choices on episode one of season one of the Walking Dead games, and for that her face will be mutilated further than necessary.'

Police believe Prosper had become obsessed with the violent video game, based on the hit TV series of the same name.

Mr Cray said Prosper had spent a year planning his shotgun rampage which he hoped would make him notorious.

'His stated purpose was to achieve national and international notoriety as one of the largest single incident murderers in criminal history,' he said.

But his plan to carry out a school shooting that day were thwarted by 'chance and circumstance alone' after local police officers spotted Prosper lurking in the street at 7.50am on September 13 last year less than a mile from the school, just hours after he killed his family.

The court heard Prosper managed to obtain a shotgun the day before on September 12 by creating 'a high-quality forgery of a shotgun certificate or licence' which he used to fool a private gun seller, claiming he just wanted it to go clay pigeon shooting.

He had downloaded a blank firearm certificate and made multiple downloads of real firearms certificates in order to make a fake copy.

Prosper included his own name, a photograph and his real address on his bogus firearms licence, the court heard.

The defendant also inserted the signature of a Bedfordshire Police firearms sergeant on to the forged document on August 30 2024.

On the same day, Prosper messaged a private seller who had advertised a shotgun on gunstar.co.uk for £450, and offered to pay him £600 if cartridges were included, prosecutor Timothy Cray KC said.

The seller then agreed to drop the gun off to the defendant on September 12, prompting the Prosper to say in a message: 'I look forward to meeting you.'

Police later discovered the teen had been 'thinking about mass killing for over a year', spending his time researching 'notorious murderers and rapists' and 'pictures of numerous school mass shooters and research as to their manifestos or beliefs' including looking at the Manchester Arena bombing.

Mr Cray said he had spent months researching local schools as potential targets and he became preoccupied with 'images and audios that showed deep alienation from normal life and interest in the darkest sides of humanity, including people being killed or seriously injured and violent video games.'

When the teen killer was arrested, he was wearing a yellow and black tracksuit reminiscent of Uma Thurman's hit movie, Kill Bill.

He had stashed his shotgun and ammunition in some bushes about 200m away from where he was found in Bramingham Road.

After he was taken to the police station, the warped serial killer made comments in his cell, including asking: 'Are you capable of what I have done?'

He also said: 'There was no choice, I had to do it', and again referred to the fake shotgun licence.

A few days later on September 17, he told prison nurse Tatenda Muketiwa: 'I wish I had killed more.'

During their investigation, police uncovered Prosper's sickening obsession with death, with the evil teen having spent his time trawling the internet for chilling slaughter videos.

His disturbed ramblings online were so depraved that he was kicked off a gore website – where millions of users share and comment on videos of people being killed – because of his warped stance on child abuse.

Prosper's content was uploaded under a pseudonym and featured his distinctive accent.

His videos have been deleted from YouTube in the wake of his appalling crimes, although the Mail has been able to view them.

They include a clip recorded hours before the massacre, believed to be filmed in his family's flat in Luton, in which Prosper vowed to mutilate the face of his sister 'further than necessary' for making an incorrect choice' in the Walking Dead game.

In the video, the 19-year-old also ranted that he was 'chosen' to protect a fictional character called Clementine in the zombie survival game, in a sign he struggled to differentiate between the real world and make-believe.

The teenager spent so much time on the internet in his bedroom that neighbours had no idea he even existed – despite them being on friendly terms with his mother and siblings.

One woman previously told the Mail: 'I've lived here for 15 years and I never saw him once. Juliana and the other kids I saw, usually by the lifts.

'She would often say hello and chat, she was so nice. I saw all the other siblings but never Nicholas – ever. One lady who lives on their floor said she never knew he even existed.'

Prosper peppered online forums with his repulsive ideas, many relating to children and including the sexual abuse of dead bodies.

His rants were so revolting he was banned from a gore website for repeatedly 'sexualising minors'.

One moderator told the Mail: 'There were multiple comments by him either in support of or arguing for child-adult sexual interactions that made it clear this was not in jest or a careless attempt to play devil's advocate.

'We do not know what sort of person Mr Prosper was, other than someone unwilling or incapable of following our site's rules and therefore someone we would not allow on our platform.'

In another video, Prosper sarcastically suggested that child sexual abuse was blamed for 'virtually every mental disorder and issue'.

Apologising for his 'slurred' speech, the teenager said: 'Who knows, maybe in a few years we'll see Aids, rectal cancer, increased chance of stubbing your toe, every single problem you face in life is because you touched a winky [penis] when you were six.'

While caged in prison, awaiting his first court hearing, Prosper wrote out his mass murder plan, in a document found by a prison officer.

The twisted note was discovered in the teenager's trainer sole during a cell inspection on November 13, last year.

Part of the notes read: 'I was right in predicting no-one would've called the police had I killed them in their sleep. 3 shots under 30 seconds.

'The only known phone call to police that day was made by the b**** at the door as a result of my B**** mother waking them up and it being turned into a long struggle.

'My plan wasn't 'stupid'. I was f****** right. MY MOTHER IS A STUPID F****** COW.'

The notes continued: 'But why so early? So I'd have time to cannibalise my family, and rape a woman at knife point before the shooting.'

There was also a step-by-step guide to the planned school shooting, including Prosper leaving the flat at 8.40am on his mother's bike and arriving at the school for 9am.

The guide said he would 'shout that this is a robbery and for everyone to get down' before shooting the two teachers and killing the children.

Fresh details about the troubled teen's school life were also revealed in court today.

Prosper had been a quiet 'geeky' boy with a small group of friends who were into computers, up until Year 11 when he was 16.

Problems began to emerge when he started sixth form, which the court has already been told he did not want to do but said he felt pressured by his mother to continue school.

He was referred for mental health support but refused to engage.

These could be described as psychopathic tendencies, the court heard.

'People with autism are capable of experiencing empathy and guilt, but the defendant has extreme deficiencies with these emotions,' prosecutor Timothy Cray KC told the court.

David Bentley, KC, defending, said Prosper was not a psychopath, but a 'socially impaired' teenager with 'autistic traits'.

He added: 'He is a young man who has gone down effectively an internet wormhole… he was living to some degree in a fantasy internet world. '

The killer, now 19, rocked back and forth as his lawyer said Prosper's actions were 'incomprehensible' and something had 'gone very wrong' in his life.

Mr Bentley said the judge should consider a 30-year term as a starting point, rather than a whole life sentence.

Although Mr Bentley acknowledged that 'if his mental state stays the same, he may never be released'.

Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb said she would sentence the triple killer tomorrow.

Prosper, wearing a green t-shirt and trousers, was seen smirking as he left the dock.

Yep, that's why the heroin addict in charge of the HHS wants kids to die of measles instead.
