I'm right-handed and my left eye is dominant.

Right-handed. I had no clue about my eyes until I read this in the Wikipedia article:

In those with anisometropic myopia (i.e. different amounts of nearsightedness between the two eyes), the dominant eye has been found to be the one with more myopia.

So I looked at my glasses prescription and found that it must be my left eye that's dominant.

Well, the way I determined my dominant eye was I framed an item with my fingers outstretched. When I closed my left eye, it looed IDENTICAL! When I closed my right, the focus changed. The object I was looking at basically dissappeared.

Right hand and left eye. But, I have some ability to write left-handed. In baseball I could bat either way and also throw either way. Would throw right or left handed depending on what position I was playing.

Right-handed, left-eyed. An optometrist once said that that might affect my hand-eye coordination.

I can do things with both hands but I prefer to use my right hand just because I'm used to it, probably because I started doing it early on because everyone else did. I'm right-eyed for some things and left-eyed for others. I'm wierd. )

A LOT of aspies are saying this(that they're amidextrous)! It is true for ME also! My mother is ambidextrous also. I prefer my right, my mother prefers her left.

I don't think that can be right, because I'm right eye dominant, but my left eye is more near-sighted than my left. The real test for eye dominance is to pick a point to look at, put your finger up in front of your eyes, and then close one eye at a time. Whichever eye shows the same view when it's open as when both eyes are open, is the dominant eye.

Plus, it doesn't make sense anyway that your dominant eye would be your worse eye. I always figured that the reason my left eye was worse was because it *wasn't* my dominant eye.

I thought it seemed a little odd myself, but I was too lazy to look up a way to really test it. I just did your test and you're right, my right-eye, which is less near-sighted, ended up being my dominant eye. It really was a huge difference between the two eyes. Too bad my answer in the poll is wrong then...stupid Wikipedia.
