Hi guys/girls,
I've got a question I was hoping to get some feedback on. I have a 19 year old brother who is an aspie and who I would love to introduce him to this site, provided that he is interested and wants to do so.

Someone has mentioned in my introduction thread that he may not like and may not feel comfortable that I have already taken it upon myself to join and to actively research Asperger's Syndrome and I am sure that is quite possible/probable.

So I was wondering if anyone has been in the situation of a relative, or more specifically, a sibling (in his case an older brother) actively looking for information on Asperger's to see if I can help him in any way.

My other wondering was: how did you, yourselves, get involved with this forum or in seeking out other aspies? Was there anything that compelled you to look for a forum like this?

I really feel like this is a great place for aspies and people close to them to discuss amongst themselves and would love to introduce it to my brother.

Any thoughts/experiences?
