If so, what do you collect?

I collect toys, records, guitars and science text books.

I collect buttons too!

as well as

Raggedy Annes and Andys.....ovr 50 and counting (i have gotten rid of and rebuilt my collection 3 times now...just like my Lynda Barry collection...) I am fascinated by their sameness.

bottle caps (in the thousands...will find something to do with them someday...maybe give them to some wayward bottle cap artist...if you ARE a wayward bottle cap artist looking for used bottle caps please PM me..because I am not one.)

socks....(so as to make sock creatures from them...I have hundreds of pairs...though a complete aversion to actually wearing socks)

sock monkeys, sock clowns, knitted and crocheted animals.....homemade toys in general...
I both make and collect.

um....

sewing notions

handmade quilts...(i have dozens)

books of fonts and clip art

skirts

flies...

Boxes!, band buttons, useless things i find on the ground that attract my attention, old health cards, my own, i don't go around steeling peoples health cards  bottle caps, erasers, pens and pencils, dictionary/reference books(though never read them :P) ... germs/colds, i don't mean to, it just happens...a lot :?

I used to collect rocks and stuffed animals(little ones) but my collection seemed to get smaller by the day...maybe they got married to the rocks and moved away!! (or got thrown out...who knows  )

I haven't been to busy with boxes anymore either, the boxes we have from moving just aren't the ones i like :(

 I am a nerd.

I also have boxes and boxes of sports cards, mostly baseball, and comic books, mostly Star Wars. Plus over 2,000 pieces of music (CDs, LPs, Cassettes) and a whole bunch of movies, TV shows, and music videos (LaserDisc, Beta, VHS, and DVD). 8)

Transformers! Only G1 and G2, though - none of that Beast Wars / Beast Machines / Energon / Armada / Cybertron / Bayformers crap. I've bought a couple of the Titanium series and Classics series though, because the Jetfire figure looked too cool to pass up, and the idea of a fully articulated Ultra Magnus figure is too great to be true. In fact, that specific figure arrives in the mail in a few hours! Yay! I've got all of the G1 animated series on tape *and* DVD, plus an original VHS of the Movie. Oh, and every single one of the Marvel UK comics, and most of the Marvel US ones. And all of the Transformers Annuals. Basically, I'm a complete G1 whore.

*edit* - At this very moment, I have 6 Optimus Prime figures (Masterpiece, Laser, Classics, G1, Hero and Smallest) on my desk, and one Megatron (Classics) :P
