You seriously overestimated your magical powers unfortunately. That last spell you cast caused a rift between time and space to open up in your brain, effectively lobotomizing you. Because you also overestimated your stealth, you are quickly discovered by a pack of goblins. Yet to your surprise--well, if you had all your faculties, you'd be surprised I suppose--they don't kill you. They figure you're just one of them from the stupid expression you wear, and by the huge amount of goodies you acquired, they think you're their leader. They sit you on the goblin throne, and praise you. It would not be so bad, if you still had enough intelligence to enjoy absolute power over an army of evil minions.

So this is why they call it a dungeon, huh? You find out after the monsters capture you that they do indeed have plenty of cells for would-be adventurers like yourself who foolishly try to enter their evil lair. Fortunately, you haven't been dragged to the torture rack yet. They probably are trying to wear you down a bit first, but you know one thing. You're not going to overestimate your stealth again if you ever get out of here and try to sneak into another dungeon.

The monsters of the cave catch you and proceed to tear you limb from limb for having violated their most sacred and holy place...a particularly egregious offense on bingo night. All that treasure you stole was for the prizes, and they don't like people taking all the prizes...

Your adventure ends in the lowest part of the dungeon (yes, it turns out there's a seventh level where they actually keep the prisoners). You pushed yourself too hard in every regard, whether strength, agility, or magical prowess, and now you end up against a cold slab waiting for the eventual red-hot pokers. The monsters don't want to kill you. You tried to steal so much treasure, they are unwilling to make this quick.
