Anybody here like AMV's?

Does anybody here like AMV's. What they stand for is Anime Music Videos. Pretty much it is a music video, except with anime in it instead of pop stars.

I tend to like it because they are much more meaningful then most regular ones (most are usually advertisements for songs in any case, and so tend to be rather pointless). And plus, they are fun to make. I make them regularly, but I don't post them on youtube. I usually make them here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/home/home.php

It wasn't anime, but the music video for Take on Me by A-Ha was pretty cool.

I don't, however.

Basically, anybody who makes an AMV or any other fanvid is either a Linkin Park fan or an Evanescence fan or both. Since I'm neither...

While I don't like anime music videos, I can be partial to certain fan music videos in general, for games and movies and what not. It's strange how recutting overused footage (most of which we've already seen in the 1,000 other fan movies for the film/game in question) to fit the rhythm of crappy pop songs creates a thing of perverse beauty. XD

i do like amvs especially when the footage is taken from a whole bunch of series (from just one anime or more than one anime) and squished together

Hurrah for AMVs!! ! ^-^

There's a really funny... movie... called AMV Hell (number 3 is the best one) It's a compilation of anime put to sound clips and music. ^^ It kinda makes fun of anime, but it's made by fans so it's not supposed to be offensive ^^
Go see it!! !! It's on Google Video I think.... ^__^
