how can i motivate myself?

i am doing degree on a profession orriented course.but as soon as i completed my college i have found that all the hard work i did to get in a good university in a hope of finding a new life ,new friends was nothing but mare dreams.and my first academic year was really stressful and a complete nightmare.
almost each day i live a life of solitude.seems like i am one person in this world.so my dream often is such as going to some no man island.coz i am already living in a black hole among this hundred thousand people.this just how my everyday life is.
as for this i dont find any motivation to study or do anthing to make my future life any easier.and these days i cant concentrate anymore. this degree is very important for me.but i cant bring myself to work.most of the time i feel tired and for simplest reason i feel extremely depressed.i have lost any further wish to do better
can you tell me what should i do?

i have no idea, thats been my biggest problem for most of my life. i just dont understand why people want things so something inside of them sais "go get it" or something and they of course will stop at nothing to get it

No_reason91, have you seen anyone about clinical depression? You may not think you have it, and others may not think so either... I had it all my life and only recently was I questioned by a shrink, diagnosed and put on antidepressants.

i dont think you have to be necissarily depressed to not have motivation. maybe your a subjectmatter snob like me
