Most Aspie Friendly City?

What's the most aspie friendly city, in your opinion? I see St. Louis, Missouri, has having fairly limited opportunities for me socially, romantically, and to some extent career-wise (I've got a decent job, but the most interesting, challenging work in my profession is being done elsewhere). If I moved in the future, I would want to move somewhere where I could enjoy a more fulfilling life, where people are not so adverse to aspies. It would beat being friendless, lonely, bored, and frustrated. Around here, even if you put effort into covering up your Asperger's, you will merely be ignored instead of actively bullied (which is better than in some more aspie-intolerant places I've heard of, but it's still subideal).

Everyone has problems in Edmonton, Alberta, so no matter how bad you are, you'll fit right in. But it's a really depressing place, and Aspies are generally depressed, so I dunno!

One big enough so that you can get lost in the crowd.

My guess would be Seattle.

This is an interesting subject.
My guess for an aspie friendly city would be one with:

a tolerant and/or aloof/minding your own self vibe.
large amounts of other different types...techies/geeks/artsy folks/LGBT people
Intellectual/Literature/Art vibe
Good public transport would be important for many aspies as many can't drive .

My guesses?

New England has many places like this...Burlington,Vermont,Portland,Maine,Boston
NYC to an extent
Washington,DC actually fits it well
Seattle and Portland Oregon fit
Denver and some other places in the west...maybe Alaska or Montana
The Bay Area and LA to a lesser extent.

My main guess is the more liberal,diverse and intellectual as well as aloof and big a place is the better it is.

I've good things about Oregon.

Didn't know that there are actually cities that are largely non NT.

I would think that places near a university would be ideal, considering there are plenty of other geeks/nerds there. And the bigger the university, possibly the more geeks/nerds that flock around it.

Probably not Milwaukee.

have mentioned this one before a lot,and it's more of a village than busy type place/city,but.....Botton village in Yorkshire is very aspie and autie friendly,it's in fact tailored to people with learning disabilities,people with asd and people with mental illness,so any differences and behaviors resulting from the persons condition are welcomed there,although the person has to have support needs to be able to get funding for a place.
the old documentary was repeated about it again last night on e4 or more4,a Botton autie did some of the commentary and filming.

I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and it's very Aspie friendly mainly because there are three colleges within five minutes of each other (University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University and Duquesne University) so it is chock full of the geek/nerd type. Plus it has a somewhat decent public transportation system.

I wonder if San Francisco could be?
