1. Buy complicated clothing. (i.e. anything more complicated than "head goes here, arms go here and here.) I just spent 35 minutes trying to work out how to put on my new shirt (yes, I could have worn another one, but I had an Aspie moment of "I have to wear THIS ONE!! !! !). I've missed the bus that I was going to catch, and I'm still not sure I've got it right, but it looks ok and it isn't strangling me so I'll leave it like this.

Add your own bad ideas to the list!

Go to a prom or dance or something like that.
I think burning alive would be much more comfortable for me.

Can we get a picture of this shirt? I'm somewhat curious now.

I can definatly relate on the wrong shirt problem. I recently bought a nice blouse with an interesting back and wore it wrong the entire day.

To add to the discussion: Go to a class where there is a "getting to know everyone" at the begining.

I've done that multiple times. Totally missed the only zipper on my dress (which was fun; I could get into it without a problem, but getting out was a different matter), and there's a sweater that I like (it's warm; winter is cold), but for whatever reason, I can never figure out when it's inside out or not. I would change it at least three or four times before deciding which was right. Putting me near clothing that's any more complicated than jeans a t-shirt is generally a bad idea.

I'll post one if I remember. It's not that complicated, but it has an undershirt and a few straps that were giving me trouble. I had to cut through the straps in the end. I tried to put it on, couldn't find where my head went, had problems sequencing what my arms should do, had motor control problems, had to take it off completely a couple of times because it brushed against my face which set off my tactile sensitivity, and the frustration just made everything worse.

I do find this thread a bit stereotypical.

Aspies should not ask permission if it is at all possible to keep from it.

Forget to take their medication. Ugh... I hate it when that happens. I mean, it hasn't happened for a few months, but I hope it doesn't happen anytime soon.
