I was watching a rerun of "Who's the Boss" at 5:30 yesterday morning, and the plot line was very interesting. Samantha, the younger child got a position as a teacher's assistant at a local college, but it turned out that she didn't actually work for the teacher because if I remember analyzing that plot correctly, she hardly did anything for the school.

Believe it or not, Tony was one of the students there. The teacher actually fainted when he was explaining his lesson plan in world history. Then, he ended class early. Tony went home and told his family that the experience went terribly, and he did not like it.

The next day, class was in session and the teacher came in. Things went much better that day, although when he asked what the term "Bedrock" meant in world history, one of the students raised their hand and said, "That place where Fred Flintstone lives." The whole class was in hysterics.

The teacher then praised Tony Danza for being such a good student and together. He liked him very much. He gave his family complements.

However, the teacher resigned because he was not emotionally ready to teach. Everyone understood this. This was nothing against him.

The teacher was played by a gentleman by the name of Adam Carl. I'm not sure if any of you might know what he did besides guest star on "Who's the Boss."

However, I observed some interesting things about him while he was acting. He was extremely hesitant to speak, and his hands were shaking an awful lot when he did. The one scene where he started fainting really got to me.

Could this be a sign that perhaps he has AS?

I would guess it means he's a really good actor, and perhaps observed some Aspies while preparing for the role.

There is a generic character who is the "nervous awkward geek." Very much Asperger-inspired but not recognized as AS, simply because AS is not well-know, nor is the character intended to receive sympathy from the audience.

I like your observations, but remember "Tony" is a character not a real person maybe these "symptoms" are him just acting.
