Am I the only one who likes city of heroes? Is there anyone out there that likes this game and is on the same set of servers as me? I want to know.

I played in the Beta, which was free. But that's it. XD If not for the monthly fees I'd probably still be playing it.

I LOVE City of Heroes! I started playing it after I moved away from my friends and family--my gaming buddies wanted me to get it and get online with them, so I did. I still haven't hit level 50 yet, even after nearly three years of playing, but I enjoy the game a lot. I have too much fun trying out new character/power variations, plus I only get to play a few hours each week (due to raising three kids and working toward a teaching credential) but my buddies and I are trying to schedule regular rendezvous in the City. We've even made an all-mutant team of characters we've agreed to play ONLY when we're all on together--progress is slow, but it's fun growing the characters at the same time.

I used to play that game, but my highest level character was an Empathy/Psychic defender and I got increasingly frustrated at my characters complete lack of ability to solo when my friends weren't on and I wasn't in the mood to find a pick up group. I think I got up to about level 36 before I quit, at which point it was too much of a grind to level. I also made far too many alts because that costume editor was almost too awesome.

I have been playing CoH and CoV for a long time. I have characters across many servers: Victory, Virtue, Pinnacle, and two others I can't remember right now. Victory and Virtue are the big ones for me.

I have all classes, but mainly play defenders, controllers, blasters, and masterminds.

I've been fairly active in CoH for over 4 years now, with minor breaks every once in a while. I have 10 50s of 8 ATs on 5 servers and I'm at least a little active on every server. I only team once in a blue moon, though, because I generally have more fun when other people aren't around to ruin it for me.

I LOVE CoH, I just discovered it. I teamed up with some guys earlier and we completed two missions I had trouble with solo. Plus I like being able to make the bases and create a super group, like in the comics

I was in a group and all of their neon super powers were what caused me to get nauseous so I had to leave the group in the midst of a mission and go lay down. I didn't play it after that.

That sucks, that your head wouldn't allow you two to play.

I loved the game, but then my brother moved on to WoW, so I lost my chance to continue to play... :/

I played City of Heroes once. I think I got to level 6 or 7 before I decided that it was too boring, repetitious, and pointless.

Then I played WoW for a while, and I think I got to level 30 something before I concluded the same thing.

Hehe, yep. Welcome to the world of MMORPGs, where everything is based on repetition. I guess I'm lucky in that I love repeating things. I guess I'm lucky in that I love repeating things.
