This is a little thing I wrote when I had enough.
Me: I’ve a problem. People hate me because I can’t help being my own person.
The Other: You’re not hateful. I love you. I will solve your problem. Just follow me.
Me: I can’t follow you. I’m my own person.
The Other: f**k off, I hate you!
You forgot the last line, which is important:
Me: I feel sorry for you; it is your loss, for in being my own person, I have much to offer that you will not find elsewhere. Good luck wallowing in your hate; for in doing so, you validate that in being my own person, I am a
better person than you.
Greantea, I like you because you are your own person. But why does being your own person seem to involve so much worry about what others think of you? People who are inalienably their own person and spend too much time worrying about others having issues with this will invariably drive themselves to despair and madness.
Good fortune,
- Icarus is his own person too…
