I love this game. Although I wasn't born when it was released, I've still played emulated versions of it. It's so addictive!

I was playing space invaders online earlier on today.

My mother was telling me how she grew up with the game so I decided to research it and play it.

Yes, Beserker...it is addicting indeed!

It is addictive but I find I don't play it that often.

the old simple games still have quality about them,a lot of games developers today try to use modern and realistic graphics [which most of the developing time is often used on] to distract from having bad gameplay.
a lot of the playstations home made/net yaroze games were made like the old ones,older 3d/3d like games don't seem to have the same addictiveness,they age a lot worse than the simple ones.

Super Mario Bros. for example, is still addictive today.
