Here is a link for an up-and-coming big band based in Portland.
They are called the March 4th Marching Band with 30 members.
They play the most awesome old school type of music.

I happen to like a wide variety of music styles, but Big Band is one of my favorites. Especially Benny Goodman!

And did you know Glenn Miller went missing over the english channel circa 1942-1943. Rumours have it the plane was mistaken as an enemy. (bomed by raf bombers accdentaly.) still remains a mystery today
His orchestra was rendered leaderless (ghost band.)
