Hi There :D

Is it possible for me to "cancel my membership" as it were, to Wrongplanet? Could all threads/posts originating from me be removed as well?

Regards

Hi Greg aka TyroneShoelaces...

Yikes! I am SHOCKED I must say :(

Why do you want to leave us at WrongPlanet? Any reasons you'd care to share?

Please do... thanks. :)

Why would you do that? You've been with us since the beginning!

I am 'gobsmacked' so to speak. Why would you want to leave? Please reconsider both of you! 8O

Perhaps it's for privacy reasons. I get worried about the wrong person logging onto wrong planet and learning all sorts of personal stuff about me - my mum and dad for example....

I believe animallover is thinking the same thing, meaning: "Why do you want to leave us at WrongPlanet?"

Right - I meant, I can't understand why someone would leave - not that I was thinking about it . . . ooops . . .

I worry slightly about people figuring out who I am - I mean, if you know me at all my name is not too difficult to figure out, but I don't think anyone would work that hard . . . remember, I work in a job where I would probably get fired if they knew about my mental health history - in fact, I'm sure I would, but you have to assume 1) that there is crossover (i.e. someone where I work would have to also have AS or have a child with AS) AND 2) that they would be able to figure out that this one wierdo who lives in Texas is someone that they work with . . .

I find it very unlikely that anyone would figure that out . . .

Plus, in the U.S. at least, we have the Americans with Disabilities Act, which means that if they fired me I could sue and never have to work again!

Hello There

Thankyou all for your concern. I mean no offense to the developers (Alex and Dan) or legitimately valuable members of Wrongplanet, in saying this but I'm just not "feeling it" anymore.
This has more to do with me than it has with the site - a noble initiative. It is unlikely that I will be able to post further.

All the best

Greg
