Just signed up for getty images and they sent me an email asking me do you remember your first kiss. Do people here remember this? What is it like?

I've never kissed anybody and can't really see what the point in it is.

Oh yes, I remember it well. I was seven years old, and my boyfriend of the time was the greatest. Granted, it can't be too serious in first grade, but we loved each other to death so we just kissed right in the middle of class after everyone begged us to. Sadly I had to move away a year later and I haven't seen him since :(

And if those cute elementary-school ones don't count, the next one was when I was 12 at summer camp. Again, after all of his crazy preteen friends begged us to.

My first kiss was with my cousin(I think we were 8), who is a few months younger than me. It was weird but kind of nice.

The next real kiss was with my girlfriend(I was 16, she was 15), the first one was difficult. But once I kissed her it got easy and we kissed for hours. I enjoyed the kissing/petting more than I did the sex.

My first kiss was with my first boyfriend at 15. He was staring at me and I knew he wanted to kiss me. He actually said, 'May I?' and I said yes. I don't recall it being remarkable.

I was 14 it was a Christmas I was with the girl from next door plus 1.
I was amazed how sweet she tasted. I fell hopelessly in love.

She had had enough of me as soon as I went back to school after the holidays. I remained besotted for years after.

I have never exchanged a romantic kiss either. In fact, it has been years since I've exchanged any kind of kiss at all.

My first kiss was during a game of Truth or Dare, when I was 12.
The guy and I ended up going out for a few months(I think somewhere between 6-8 months.)

I remember it well. It was back in March, after me and a good friend saw Premonition at the movies. She just reached over and kissed me on the cheek. Once we were back at the lobby, when we were standing next to a Spider-Man 3 Movie Poster, I kissed her on the lips. It was wonderful. But, alas, poor Tyler. I knew her well.

I have never had my first kiss.
But I did kiss a girl on the cheek twice on her birthday.
This was about a year ago.

My first unimaginary kiss was with a friend I once had, whome I loved very much. She asked, so I said 'ok'. The second kiss was better, and was with a male date, whome I dumped after the first time. Her lips were soft, and thin.

He nicely wrapped his arms around me and we did the kissing scene, tungue in the mouth style. Well, his lips seemed thicker, and I don't care for the spit from the tongue being in my throat in that sort of situation. I liked both, really. I thought both were, ok for a while. They weren't exciting to me at the time. 8)

*sigh* Yes, I remember mine. We were both 15. It felt oddly magical...

On the mouth (in my culture it is the norm for women to be greeted by a kiss o the cheek), my first time was when I was seventeen, I was in love with a girl and had no idea how to ask her to be my girlfriend but I was by then sure she wanted to date me, so I just leaned over and French-kissed her. It was clumsy and not really pleasurable, but it worked.

I expected my first kiss to be great, but I was disappointed. I was unpleasantly surprised by the animal taste and the chapped lips. I also awkwardly kept my eyes open.

standing at the black board (yes, it was black and we used chalk) working on a simple math problem and the next thing I knew I was bent back and Darrel Mainz planted a big juicy one on my lips right in front of the whole class. I smacked him so hard! He went to the Principal's office over it. The girls teased me about it for years!

It really built up my expectations of how some guy was supposed to show me that he appreciated me. I keep waiting for some guy that just came on like gangbusters and braved the authorities to let me know how he felt about me. Men almost had to stand in front of me and jump up and down yelling to get it through to me they were interested all the rest of my life. -sigh-

Finally, at my 30th High School Reunion Darrel confessed he had had a crush on me, but the guys double dared him and so he just laid one on me a' la some Doris Day romantic comedy movie of the 1950's. He said the principal just told him to not kiss the girls and he didn't get into any trouble over it at all.

but the lesson I was taught by his actions were never unlearned.

Yes, it was horrible. I was 15, and had never even been hugged by a guy (other than family). I met this guy in school, we were talking. It was one of those "well, I could use a friend" things. We found out we lived close to each other, he asked if he could come over. I said sure. (Yea, a friend!)
I told my mom he was coming, she questioned what I was wearing (old crappy t-shirt). Anyway, he came over, never even tried to hold my hand. Then, out of nowhere, he kissed me. I was standing against a wall, and froze in fear when I realized what he was going to do. He french kissed me.
I was so freaked out I just went outside. He seemed to get that hint, and went home.
And to make it even worse, my mom saw. Later, I got a lecture about "If I kiss lots of people, people will think I'm easy."
How humiliating.

My first kiss was when I was 16, I had (I think maybe 2 hours) earlier that day been asked out by my first girlfriend, who I remain good friends with to this day, obviously I said yes when she asked but it was all unexpected, I'd not long since started college. then in about the evening the two of us shared a kiss, not a peck on the cheek, but a proper french kiss, which I enjoyed, and it was a frequent thing, until the two of us kind of fell out, but we have patched things up since.

the first kiss remains in my memory as one of those things to be treasured :)
