G'day, Dracon, nice to meet you! I am an Aspie all the time, but a dragon only part-time (first thing in the morning, usually). :D

I believe I would qualify as a Fae otherkin, though I didn't know that term until this post. I have been asked if I was fae on several occasions. About 10 years ago in New Orleans I met quite a few who claimed to be dragons/vampires/fae/etc. but they were pretty ridiculous. I think I have met 2 who were "real" - one claiming to be a dragon and one who never claimed anything, but had a definite fae vibe and psychic abilities.

You got me. I'm not ~really~ a dragon.

I have been a cat quite a few times, though, I reckon.

Nice to meet you as well. I must admit, this post has gotten to me a bit because this is something that has always been in the back of my mind, but I have chosen to pseudo-ignore for almost a decade. Oddly enough, I slipped it in with my daughter's middle name, Sidhe (Gaelic for fae - PDD dx), and the term "fairy" has come up several times from NTs with no knowledge of her full name. So I guess she would be otherkin #3 that I have met in the flesh. Though my wife has something going on, too. Not an aspie, but not NT. I would guess angelic.

Anyway. One of the things I wanted to ask (but didn't) the Dragonkin I met was... How did you come to this realization? What are the factors that really make you feel the Dragon connection? I could give the Fae list, but... um... I asked first. Plus I think hearing your story could be a bit therapeutic in this strange time I'm going though, being forced to face my own realities (I've been hiding from) while those same realities are becoming apparent in my child.
