I only like MarioKart and Mario Tennis on the Gamecube. Most video games make me nauseous.

I got a PS2 for my kids but I play it mostly. If a game that I want is available for PS2, I buy it because PC games lose compatibility too easily.

Unfortunately, my favorite games are PC only..

Neverwinter Nights
Dungeon Siege
Jedi Knight I II & Outcast
Doom I II
Quake
Ultima I-VIII
Sierra Games KQ, LSL, PQ, SQ etc...

BTW: Did you know that you can download FREE remakes of King's Quest

KQ1 and 2 from here
KQ1 and KQ2 (http://www.agdinteractive.com/)

KQ3 from Here
KQ3 Remake (http://www.infamous-adventures.com/inde ... age=kq3vga)

PC, Xbox, and PS2. I used to play Gameboy also back when I was into Pokemon.

At the moment, Gamecube and DS. I still have my GBA too and I've also got a Wii.

My kids and I love Harry Potter on the PC...

Especially the gargoyle light thingies.

My youngest (then 3) used to imitate them whenever we found one in the game.

I got HP for the PS2 because it was so much fun on the PC but it's awful on those other platforms, not at all as playable as the PC.

I still enjoy it on the PS2 a bit but it's too hard for my kids - they can play the PC versions though.

You don't know what they are?

-Nintendo Entertainment System
-Super Nintendo Entertainment System
-Nintendo 64
-Nintendo Gamecube
-Nintendo Wii
-Nintendo Game Boy Advance
-Nintendo DS
-Personal Computer
-PlayStation 2

As for which is my favorite, I tend to go through phases. Right now, I'm neglecting my consoles and playing exclusively on my PC.

1. Just because you have a lot of different machines to play games on doesn't mean you understand them.

2. Most of those aren't even current, they're old and obsolete.

3. There isn't always a "best" option, just like there isn't a best Artist.

Ok so here are your choices: You can get an Xbox 360 or PS3 both are good for racing games, fighter games, and others that don't require too much graphics power or buttons, so that's your typical Mortal Kombat or Need for Speed, however if you want to go for a more casual family orientated gaming platform Wii would be best, it has lots of boring games and some not so boring games, then there's your hand held platforms (And even Mobile Phones) which are good for mobility, kids, and not much else. Then there's the all powerful Windows powered PC which is great for almost anything but might need to be upgraded, you can link it up with friend's Computers (Though you can do that with Xboxe 360s, PS3 and hand helds) and go on the internet, you can even sign up for free games over the internet like you would a forum. Basically if you're a fan of games you'll probably want the PC because it offers pretty much everything, especially the really good older games like Planescape Torment, and if you're really Hardcore you might want an Xbox 360 and/or PS3 (Since not all games are release on a PC, plus you may want all the memory and MBs you can get), but if you're a parent with kids you'll want a Wii.

Nightmare isn't it?

PS, PS2, PSP (if I can get my hands on one), SNES, N64, some PC/Mac. Particularly the first two.
