I hope to never be asexual. But then again, I might not have to deal with primal urges, which would rule.

I feel attracted to women, but live an asexual lifestyle. For all practical purposes, I am asexual.

Present! While I am attracted to men, I rarely care to do anything about it. And I mean rarely!

I'm not asexual but I was accused of being asexual throughout my high school life because I wouldn't hang out or date girls. I just didn't know how to approach them. I always wondered why they didn't approach me. lol Typical AS

It would make my current life SO MUCH easier - but nope, not me. I'm a hotblooded American Woman. And always wanting things that aren't good for me or that I can't have. :shameonyou:

I thought asexual meant no sexual desires and nothing turns you on. If you find things sexual, or you are turned on by anything, then you're not asexual. I used to be asexual but then I got into sex when I was about 19 because I started to think about it but didn't have desire to have it till I was 20 when I got my first boyfriend.

I do not feel the urge to mate with anyone at all. I feel sexual arousal every once and a while but it is never connected to anything. So I am asexual. :alien:

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

I'd say 99% asexual since you do get sexual arousal on occasion.

I can't remember a single time that I've felt any sort of sexual arousal.
For that, I would claim to be asexual.
I do think that girls tend to look very nice, but I've never had any desire to pierce one of them.
I still have some desire to marry though. My family expects me to marry, and I do desire the companionate love relationship that marriage brings, but the fact that marrying forces me into having sex makes me feel a fair bit less desirous of marriage.

i never have the desire to have sex... although i can very easily platonically say a girl is hot.. i do imagine being married in the future in a lovely platonic relationship thats very huggy and kissy!

If you want to have kids of your own, you're going to have to do it.

I don't like having to use the word asexual to define my lifestyle. While the idea of romantic/erotic activities is appealing, the reality was rarely as good as the imagining was. I recently joined the AVEN forums, and have seen that there are romantic asexuals, erotic asexuals, hetero asexuals, etc.
