I find this guy's tracks to be unique, and not just experimentation. If you've never heard him, I posted one of his videos in the "no speaking" thread. If you can't find it, look it up on Napster Free.

Comments?

I heard one track by them a long time ago and liked it....then I forgot all about them. I may check them out again now, thanks!

I like venetian blinds, though they're a little tricky to dust.

Venetian Snare is what I'd think of as breakbeat hardcore. Its that section of time where gabber was slowly morphing into jungle. Dj Rap, Goldie, LTJ Bukem, Fabio, Grooverider, Ray Keith, Brockie, Dj SS, Aphrodite, and Simon Bassline Smith et. al. took it from there.

Yes, in that sense he isn't anything special. Though I do like his music.

Anyone like Hekate's music? She's his Girlfriend or something.

I really didn't mean to smash on the OP's style, what I've heard of VS isn't bad, just that my tastes tend to be a little rigid around that area.

If you think that I thought that you were insulting Breakbeat then you're wrong, I meant that he isn't special in the sense that he doesn't experiment with music to the degree that he couldn't be placed under any musical label.
