Hi WP forum-goers, I'm Dave, and I'm an undergrad student at
UC Santa Cruz. I am a history major, and I'm also interested in politics and english literature. I'm 19, and I'm self-diagnosed AS as of two months ago. I'm still coming to terms with what that means for myself and those around me. Hopefully by swapping war stories with folks who know what it's like, I can get a better insight into who I am and who I want to be.

I have 3 sons aged 9, 7 and 4 - my older 2 sons have been diagnosed with Asperger's.

Very perceptive of you. If absence makes the heart grow fonder; having to deal with family and high school friends again has most certainly had the opposite effect. I suppose I owe it to my mother to listen to the horror stories of what she went through remodeling her house though, as I'm the principal beneficiary of the new hot tub :lol:
