Anyone else played this?
Like it? hate it? overrated or not?

Am borrowed it off staff at home as had been after it for a long time but could never find a copy.
Like it,find it hard and controls a bit dodgy though, looks good for it's age and on a ps2.
Going to see if there are any action replay codes for it,just so can take time with it.

The game is hard, no doubt, Took me ages to clock it. The ending is worth it when you meet Piggsy, the man/pig running around with a chainsaw - that character has got to be the most twisted ever in a video-game. And the voice acting for Lionel Starkweather is spot on.
I'll be getting manhunt 2 for the psp soon.

I hired it for a time, but it was hard, and too grim for my liking. I preferred GTA: San Andreas.

Where do you live? It's banned in quite a few countries, including my own.

I'm not a fan of violence and gore in games for the sake of violence and gore, which is what this game seems to be about.

I really liked manhunt 1, but got stuck on some of the later levels. Manhunt 2 wasn't nearly as good in my opinion. The story was lacking.

Awesome game, fun, challenging, and gruelingly violent, just how I like my games:) It is more than violence for the sake of violence though, the game does take tactic and strategy to avoid being spotted.
I've beaten the first one, my friend has part 2 and I've watched him play, he says once he beats it he'll sell me the game. I can hardly wait:)

thought was just being crap at this game, didn't realise it was intentionally hard.
Which difficulty were all playing it at?
Am had it on fetish, and got up to the 'fueled by hate' level [don't know how far from the end this is?],almost finished it several times, but dad kept walking in front, and distracting,am back at home now and have it hooked up in bedroom so don't have anyone to blame for being rubbish at it.
To make it worse, after getting home and trying the action replay disc for the first time in ages tonight, the thing decides to not work, last ps2 must have wrecked it.
Why aren't games how they used to be with basic cheats to input, for various things like invincibility, rather than having to complete the game first to get access to them?

WilsonFisk,
it's coming out on the psp?
sony are cruel, they ban the importing of their games to Europe, when there's actually a psp one worth getting.

Tequila,
it might still be coming out here,as rockstar won an appeal to have it re assessed for a BBFC certificate,Manhunt 2 isn't supposed to be as 'bad' as the first one which was released,so there shouldn't be a problem, think the reason they were refused a certificate at the last appeal was because it was the same time the government had just launched national research on game violence to children which one of those tv 'super nannies' is involved in as well.
Think the BBFC people were told off for messing rockstar about as well.

Enigmatic_Oddity,
Rockstar use a lot of contreversy in most of their games,if they're not being called racist for basing some of their polygons on black gangsters, they're encouraging people to stop recycling their tesco carrier bags by using them to suffocate some criminal [Manhunt].

Got hold of the action replay/game shark codes if anyone wants them:

what about the real manhunt, where you run around and chase each other?
