I liked Spiderman 3.
but I hated Transformers.
Hmph. You're lucky I haven't gotten my hands on Masterpeice Megatron yet.
Not that Transformers was anything THAT special.
Spidey 3 and Fantastic 4 2 sucked, and for reasons that could have been easily fixed, which makes it even more infuriating.
For starters, why was Raimi forced to include Venom when he'd made it clear he HATED Venom? Of course Sam wouldn't use him properly, and I can't say as I blame him, even though Venom should have been awesome. Sandman and Goblin Jr. were enough villians for one film: if they needed a third, they should have just had Prof. Connors go Lizard.
And the ending of FF2 was so ret*d. They could have had the Surfer give Reed the necessary data to kitbash parts of his board and the Fantasticar into an Ultimate Nullifier, and had Surfer sacrifice himself by flying into Galactus in order to provide a target lock or something, but no, that would have required a clever plan instead of a cookie-cutter "character development" moment. I won't post an actual spoiler.
Oh, and Underdog sucked worst of all. I won't berate Michael Bay for not staying true to my exact memeories of my childhood cartoons, but we all need to start ignoring Disney's live-action treatments of quaint cartoon classics.
I only saw Underdog because the MSTie in me desired a bemusing train-wreck, but it somehow failed even on that level.
