Die Hard 4. Not because it was awful, but because the previous one's were so good. Why does holywood keep doing this- Terminator3: pathetic, Superman Returns: not interested, Rocky 9000: ok. But please make it stop, you can't make films like you used to, so stop ruining the old ones for f**k sake.

I didn't see any bad movies last year but I've got it on good authority that Spiderman 3 did indeed suck.

Hmph. You're lucky I haven't gotten my hands on Masterpeice Megatron yet.

Not that Transformers was anything THAT special.

Spidey 3 and Fantastic 4 2 sucked, and for reasons that could have been easily fixed, which makes it even more infuriating.

For starters, why was Raimi forced to include Venom when he'd made it clear he HATED Venom? Of course Sam wouldn't use him properly, and I can't say as I blame him, even though Venom should have been awesome. Sandman and Goblin Jr. were enough villians for one film: if they needed a third, they should have just had Prof. Connors go Lizard.

And the ending of FF2 was so ret*d. They could have had the Surfer give Reed the necessary data to kitbash parts of his board and the Fantasticar into an Ultimate Nullifier, and had Surfer sacrifice himself by flying into Galactus in order to provide a target lock or something, but no, that would have required a clever plan instead of a cookie-cutter "character development" moment. I won't post an actual spoiler.

Oh, and Underdog sucked worst of all. I won't berate Michael Bay for not staying true to my exact memeories of my childhood cartoons, but we all need to start ignoring Disney's live-action treatments of quaint cartoon classics.
I only saw Underdog because the MSTie in me desired a bemusing train-wreck, but it somehow failed even on that level.

Totally agree with Spiderman 3. It's not just because it pales in comparison to Spiderman 2, it's just really bad.

Worst movie of 2007 for me?

I Am Legend.

It's a ripoff remake of another remake. This movie just plain sucked. I like Will Smith, but I thought it was a sh***y movie.

Geez, all you guys who are so happily bashing spiderman 3 and fantastic 4 two need to be dragged out to some really really crap chick flicks to appreciate what you have.

Those and a lot of the teen movies are the worst movies of 2007 - but of course, I didn't go see most of them either...

What about

Farce of the Penguins
Norbit
Ghost Rider

Anyway, have a look at the list of movies released in 2007 here...

http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/index2007.php

Personally, I'd prefer to see watered down sad superhero flicks than half of these - and I don't even like superhero movies.

I actually laughed at some parts the Farce of the Penguins. But I watched it at home on tv. And it was late at night so I might have been a little loopy.

Pirates of the Carribean 3
Spider-Man 3
Transformers
Disturbia
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

All horrible movies. I liked the first POTC, but hated the sequels. I like Spider-man 2, But Spiderman 3 just sucked. I liked all the previous Harry Potter movies, but the fifth one just plain sucked.

The Simpsons Movie.

I agree, it did not live up to its hype, the first half hour was nice, but the plot was not that orginal nor did it have any intelligent humor .I think the direct to DVD Futurama movie Benders Big Score was much better in every aspect. It had intresting plot, great overall storyline, a lot of good humor and they pulled it all together after many years of being off the air.

Like Comic book Guy said about Cosmic Wars "Worst COSMIC WARS ever. I will only see it three more times" In my opinion Same can be said about the Simpsons Movie.
