This is the thread where you can post anything you feel proud of doing in a game. For example, two things I'm proud of are getting the Super Missile Tank in Brinstar and completing Metroid Prime 3 with 100% items first time.

What are you guys proud of?

Finishing all Final Fantasy games at least once, except for III, V and XI. Having beat most optional bosses in them.

Having managed to get almost all secret weapons in the Resident Evil games

Finishing Silent Hill 4 (boy, that game was HARD)

Kicking Sephiroth's arse first time up in KHII Proud Mode. The next time I played on Proud Mode, it wasn't so easy.

Nothing else that I can think of offhand, except owning my brother and his friend in most races in Mario Kart DS first time I played (through download play).

I've beaten, conquered, and utterly humiliated every video game I've ever played.

Final Fantasies 1 through 7, crystal chronicles (not like that was hard), tactics advance, etc. Though i never got into 8+.

Every Metroid that has been released. Funny story, my first time playing the original Metroid, I finished it faster than the person who was showing it to me ever did.

The Legend of Zelda poses no challenge in any form. Zelda 2 was just plain awful and mind-numbingly simple.

One of my favorites from way back when, Kid Icarus. Loved that game, and after defeating it I found hundreds of codes for it through trial and error.

I once played through Super Mario Bros for the NES for around 50 hours straight, I had a ridiculously high score...wish I still had the picture that showed my final score.

I've tried playing through the city/civilization games, like SimCity, but I never had enough patience to really get into them. Although when playing Tropico last year, I managed to get the biggest island completely covered and up to 2000 people with over $4 million in the treasury and $1.5 million in my swiss bank account.

Oh yeah, in 2005, I was voted the best alliance healer on my server in World of Warcraft in an impromptu forum poll...out of 1000+ votes I got nearly half, while the rest were divided up among 5 or 6 others.

The list goes on...45+ NES games, 50+ SNES games, several dozen N64, Gamecube, Wii and PS1/2 games, and an even bigger list of computer games.

My longest gaming binge was 73 hours straight without sleeping or eating. Looked at the clock and thought to myself "Damn, I got alot done in an hour."

Basically whatever game I touch falls short of providing a lasting challenge. I'd like to get into designing some, but nobody would play them because they would all be too difficult.

For the past few weeks I've been playing Goblin's Heart (online game) a lot, and today I finally got to the end of it :D

Last year I have:
.Played Winter Bells (another online game) a lot, my best score so far is 130143110.
.Mastered playing whole games of Jazz Jackrabbit 2 without using any cheats
.Discovered the JJ2 TSF demo and mastered it
.Found all the wizard cards and almost all the secret areas in the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets PC game

(Well, I'm not really much of a gamer, apart from online games and outdated PC games.)

I once beat "UFO: Enemy Unknown" (a.k.a. X-Com) on super hard (with difficulty patch) without killing a single alien (except the mechanical discs, you can't use stun weapons on those because they blow up anyways.)

Ah yes, I do love having pride moments in games. First my proudest. Beating the fastest score above what a magazine claimed is a record of the pros, and above their best posted score to beat them, in Diddy's Conquest, super nintendo. They didn't post my score though. arg.. 1:40 and with just about all the items, thank you very much. :D

Finding almost, or all the glitches, secrets and so forth in older games. I was much better at it in my child years. Back then I was a master and finding glitches. Hee hee.

In World of Warcraft, beating a level 21 wolf with my 16 priest who isn't a twink, and also orange numbered enimies with the same one. Climbing over the mountain in Dun Moruh, and getting the flight path in a high level zone known as The Searing gordge, with a low level 1 or 5. (I had to fall to my death to reach it, but just getting over the mountain is cool.) Sneaking saftely through the middle of zones 15-20 levels higher with my rogue and not getting killed. Still wasn't twinked, there. I love rogues.

There is some Korean kid that was adopted who loves games kind of like I do. He could whoop my rear in a few seconds though, as he's better at finding the stuff in a game. I think he would make a good game tester.

I am proud of being the only teenager I know who DOESN'T own a gaming console or single video/computer game of any type...nor hand held video games.

Yes...it's unbelievably true!

Seriously though...I have NO gaming achievements as i've never played any. In todays modern society...that is kind of an accomplishment I would say, though.

beat both quests in the original Zelda without outside help. this was 20 years ago before the internet became commercialized.

Good going, I only ever got up to the fourth dungeon in the original game (first quest).

I now have 100% of the items in Zero Mission. All I have to do now is complete the game. Unfortunately my completion time is rubbish (8:25:00+) not that I was playing for a speedrun though.
