French man has an IQ of 75 and a family with 2 kids despite very little remaining brain tissue due to Dandy Walker complex. His brain is at left in this pic, normal one is at right.

that's happened, but usually you have someone born with only fluid there. Surprised that the IQ is as high as it is, considering the missing mass...

the average IQ in the united states is 98 and most of those people in the lower half actually have full brains :cry:

ive read about a similar condition n various conditions where the only brain tissue to be found is around top of the spine (literally just a cluster). some of these people live very normal lives and some even have good jobs such as being an accountant. i think with the condition im talking about people still have all the brain fluid there.

there's alot of bizarreness in the world of medical science to be found.

I read somewhere that 90% of americans believe they are of 'above average' intellegence...

Oh I've read about this before. Months ago already. It was pretty interesting taking that this person can lead such a normal life and that he mustn't be aware of his missing brain tissue. It makes me wonder how common this really is.
