I saw Mozart and the Whale in addition to Rain Man. Both by the same writer, in case you were wondering... Both worth seeing.

I liked both Mozart and the Whale and Rain Man (allthough Rain Man is an awfull portrayal of autistic people). Edward Scissorhands is also based on Tim Burton himself, who claims to have Asperger's syndrome.
